Is This A Regional Thing?

MD and NJ don't even touch.

I've never heard of such an abomination.

There are three permissible condiments to put on a brat or hotdog:

1 - Mustard
2 - Sauerkraut
3 - Onions

If you put ketchup on a brat or hotdog, and are older than 10, kill yourself.
Don't understand the aversion to ketchup on a hot dog.

Everything on it is the terminology here, all the way means this:

I put a line of ketchup and a line of mustard.

mustard is new...I used to hate it.
My wife's uncle is a food lunatic. "Eat this first, can't eat this that way", etc. When I asked him about the "no ketchup on a hot dog" thing, his logic was something like "ketchup only goes on beef". So I said I only get all-beef hot dogs.

He kinda short-circuited, and walked away muttering "beef, ketchup".

ketchup can go on anything...

I used to dip my fish in it as a kid...and sometimes chicken if breaded.

See, the fact you mentioned brats first, along with your toppings can define your location, or at least where you grew up if you're a transplant.

Hotdogs and BBQ preferences are just as telling your regional location as your accent and names you call certain things (soft drink, pop, soda, coke , etc).

We can all agree that grilling is not BBQ. If you can't tell, that's a pet peeve of mine. Invite me to a BBQ and I expect pulled pork, ribs, brisket, etc. Not hotdogs and hamburgers. You really are referring to a cookout. So for everyone planning on inviting people over for a Labor Day BBQ, you better have a smoker set up and start that meat before the sun comes up. Okay, I'm done.

So where is the video of this hot dog going all the way?

He's an idiot!! Ketchup only goes on french fries!!

All my life it's been the norm to order a hot dog "All The Way", which means it comes with mustard, slaw, chili, and onions. The question is whether it's just a regional term or pretty much nation wide. What say you?
Never heard of that.

People put the condiments they like on hot dogs and no one gives a fuck if your retarded ass approves.

Slaw only belongs on pulled pork that has been slow cooked for 8-12 hours

FACT

I'm not at all surprised that my hyperbole flew over your bulbous head.
