Adam Sandler makes me laugh. Some people think I'm crazy. Well I am, but that's not the point!

friend of mine went and saw him do stand up recently and said he was not at all funny

Sandler was funny in some of his early movies, but his stand up was always "meh" at best. He has always been better in skits and in comedy movies than he is/was at stand up. Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore were funny, most stuff after that not so much. Though Murder Mystery with Jennifer Anniston did make me chuckle in parts.
