The local Rock station KMOD had Phil and Brent who did their mornings. They had many other skits they did on the regular that were funny af. They (KMOD) decided to go with another morning show format and canned Phil and Brent. Phil died months later from heart failure. Brent is retired and golfs and stuff. Good good good guys at heart.

Those first few Roy D Mercer albums sold 6 figures despite no real marketing or air play outside of Oklahoma all from word of mouth. Pretty impressive

When you did see him on TV later. Remembering his facial expressions only added to what you were listening too. You could listen to comedy back in those days & never get tired of it.
