Let's talk about burritos

I like to get my burritos from a food truck parked between a "Payday Loans" place and a "Used Rims and Tires" joint on Florida Blvd.........like your supposed to!

I was in SoCal in one of the trendiest areas right during the build-up to the housing bubble and Chipotle rode that nonsense to go nationwide.

I kept hearing how great "Chipotle" was so eventually tried it.

"This is it?" :headscratch: "I just paid $11 for fucking THIS???"

I kept asking everyone who'd tell me how amaaaaazing it was, "what makes it so amazing?" People were speechless that anyone would dare think that Chipotle was anything but the greatest food ever.

If it was healthy food, I'd unerstand. But it's not. It's gimmicky marketing and dumb people. They use basic, low-quality ingredients with very little flavor in anything they make. Last one I got I had to unwrap and load with salt to choke it down.

Chipotle is some of the most over-priced, overhyped food in the history of food. I honesty can't believe they're still around. It speaks to just how easily-fooled people are when they're conditioned to personally identify with a brand.
Chipotle is trash, it's literally the Nickleback of fast food restaurants
Anyone that recommends Chipotle has no clue what "flavor" means. They also will go on and on how great the "guac" is there.
Chipotle is where "white guilt" shitbirds go to eat so they can prove they're not racist against Latino's.

Want to know how many Quinceañera's are catered by Chipotle?

Want to know how many bullets you'll get in your dome if you even think about having Chipotle cater a Quinceañera?

There's a Chipotle here in town. I've never been because there are 2 authentic taco shops between my house and the Chipotle.

I can't stand that shit.........stink bug smelling parsley looking....motherfucking yucky....

May as well just eat one of these:

And Chipotle puts that trash in literally almost every single ingredient so you can't avoid it. It is just proof they don't know what flavor means. I know plenty of people love the stuff so go ahead and make it available. Since roughly 1 in 5 people can't stand the stuff maybe give other options.

Cilantro is good, but a little goes a long way. Most chain type Mexican food restaurants don't seem to grasp that, so they end up either using to little or, like Chipotle apparently...too much.

I had a Moes in the strip mall by my house and they closed down and that made me sad. I always liked getting a burrito after my Wednesday golf league. Now, I got nothing.

I'll eat a burrito every couple of months. Prefer steak with fajita veggies

Never have felt their meat was burnt. Never have heard that complaint.

Have been to multiple locations 5 different times and every one the meat was overcooked. Maybe I'm just bad luck with them. I wanted to give them a chance

If I get a burrito then I want it as authentic as I can get it and my preferred protein is lengua (beef tongue).

Moe's is very decent. Way more flavor and better portions than Chipotle.

I wish the local Mexican place would do a Chipotle style burrito...I feel like they are missing an easy opportunity to have that on their menu.

Agree on this. Oldest daughters first job was Moes. She hated it of course. But she learned how to roll them up tight! Want a solid burrito done here now you put on what you want and hand it to her.

What's chipotle style?

I love them all...like tacos.

Beef, shrimp, pork, chicken, chorizo, eggs, breakfast, lunch, dinner, drunk.

Rub them on my nips.

Geeze.... Chipotle haters club in here. It's not the greatest in the world, but it's better than other fast food options.

Valcano Burrito from Taco Bell :rip:

Will be missed

Although Burrito's, Enchiladas, and Soft Tacos are pretty much the same, I prefer them in this order.

1. Enchilada
2. Soft Taco
3. Burrito

Had Sour Cream Chicken enchilada's with Jalapeno sauce last weekend.
Was delicious.
