I mean, Philly was 2nd in total defense and 8th in scoring defense this past season, but Goff led the Lions to totals well above what Philly averages to other opponents, so wouldn't that game have been actually complimentary of Goff?

I think it depends on whether Jackson gets hurt or not. He doesn't have a great track record for staying healthy and that is important.

I think the Eagles would see a drop for that reason alone.

It'd be very bizarre for an owner to go straight to a player and offer a contract. If I'm Lamar in that situation, I'm gonna be super skeptical since everyone know what's happening with Snyder.

well, you're being stupid about your hypothetical situation then. made up deal, but is it legit. that said. commanders have some legit talent at WR, could have a decent defense if chase is healthy and is what he can be, that said and again, i don't think lamar is that guy.
