Lol @ meat chicken celebrating their fake championship

yeah it was cringeworthy.. had a celebration at Disney World too.. I get it at a local level, but then they tried pushing that shit on a national level..
What's more embarrassing for Nebraska is that I can't tell if you're talking about Nebraska or UCF. lol

Hey @Red_Alert what do UCF, Oregon and Nebraska all have in common since 1997? 0 AP national championships.

Because Michigan has so many more NCs in the past 25 years?
We at least have conference championships. Nebraska hasn't been to a bowl game since three presidents ago.

You flaming idiot. What the fuck are "AP coaches"?

That's right up there with you thinking USC and UCLA are in the Big 12.

How the fuck many conferences are we in? :puzzled:

Last season was your first since 2004...lol @all the success.
That alone is two more than Nebraska has this century. We're hoping to repeat as B10 champs and go to the playoff again, Nebraska is hoping to (checks notes) make the first bowl game since Obama was president.

It wasn't. But congrats on making the UCF argument.

Funny how the system got "fixed" and Nebraska hasn't sniffed a championship at any level, or even been in the conversation, for over two decades. Imagine how many undefeated seasons Michigan could have had with those Nebraska schedules in the 90's?

1997 Final AP Poll

Michigan played three ranked teams:
#9 Washington St (10-2)
#12 Ohio St (10-3)
#16 Penn St (9-3)

Nebraska played five ranked teams:
#7 Tennessee (11-2)
#8 Kansas St (11-1)
#18 Washington (8-4)
#20 Texas A&M (9-4)
#23 Missouri (7-5)

I already gave you the average rank of teams. Nebraska's was lower.

So Michigans new motto is ''Better than Nebraska since 1998''.

Very inspiring.

No, You see we didn't start this ... we try not to go back 25 years to say how good we are. We've had some rough years and we are not where we need to be, but when someone starts to take a half a Championship away from us we have a duty to defend. Sometimes, I feel bad for Nebraska, because it appears all they have is a past. We made the playoffs this past year, but we still have a long way to go. Nebraska was probably the best 3-9 team in the nation.

It wasn't irrelevant to coaches who saw Nebraska beat a considerably higher ranked team by a considerably higher margin.

LOL @ thinking a bunch of AP nerds that have never even worn a jockstrap know more about evaluating football than coaches do.

It's OK. It's all been fixed now. The Big 10 and PAC 10 can no longer hide in the Rose Bowl and dodge the Bowl Alliance or Bowl Coalition.

They HAVE to play the highest ranked team now.

It is pretty humorous to hear a Nebraska fan, whose program whined their schedule was too tough in the B1G, talk about playing the higher ranked team. Oh how times have changed :pound:

Lucky for you -- Nebraska is in the B1G now and you don't have to worry about them ever having to think about playing in the CFP. Hell -- Nebraska's only worry now is trying to get bowl eligible.

Last season was your first since 2004...lol @all the success.
Don't let MnB skew your opinion on UM fans. He is the ultimate homer for UM on this site. The majority of our fans are very realistic on the expectation for UM football.

Poor guy, still can't comprehend that Michigan had a tougher schedule.

Only fags who take horse cock in the ass think Michigan deserved anything. Congratulations on the kindling you guys got for avoiding real competition

We didn't deserve anything, unlike Nebraska we won it. We weren't the default selection from some bowl alliance.

You didn't win anything. You didn't even play all the games before receiving kindling, and you ran like scared bitches to the rose bowl to try and save face
