Soft Drinks are the highest profit item they have.

The article said that McDonald's would rather you go to the drive thru, to get you in and out faster.

And from what I have seen at their parking lots, they don't have a lot of walk in business.
Seems strange.

I would buy lunch at a McDonald’s on road trips. Get a large soda. Drive a few hours then stop at another McDonald’s. Walk in with my cup that I bought at lunch and refill it. Then head back down the road
 
I honestly can’t remember how long ago it’s been since I’ve been to a Mc Donald’s. I never liked that restaurant. I think it was back in the early 90s.

Used to get Burger King every once in awhile on vacation or during ball season and our kids were playing. That was years ago…

I looked up the McDonald's deal. I don't eat McD's, but of the McChicken, small fries and small drink, why anyone would pine for this crap, is beyond me. Their fries were good, I remember. I'd rather eat out less often and go for Korean chicken wings or something.

Went into a McDonald’s for the first time in awhile and wow that place operates like a doctors office now.

Nobody there to greet you or even to talk to. You get a number from the machine and just wait. They’ve completely given up on customer service.
 
I was lucky enough to grow up when the fries were cooked in beef tallow. Good ole days!! I guess wokeness on McEDees fries started in 1966. The best part about this story is the Vegans and Muslims got fooled into thinking the fries were Vegan and Halal after 1990 lol. The Muslim/Vegan brain was pissed, but the large intestine was loving it.

I have tried the $5 Meal Deal a couple of times.

It was fine. Nothing wrong. It was McDonald's.

The McDouble was pretty good, but the chicken sandwich was dog shit.
Didn't need the nugets either.

Not sure why they don't offer a regular hamburger/fries/drink for $3.99.


My McDonald's doesn't even have any banners up or signage, or anything on the marquee.
Makes you wonder how into it these Francheeses are about it.

You have to know about it to order it, but they serve it right up.
 
Until they offer the McKrispy double cheeseburger between two donuts, they’re just seasonally fucking around.
 
Beef tallow fries are good, but duck fat fries are better, and goose fat fries are best.
 
Mickie D’s briefly had a decent chicken biscuit, but the fucked that up when they introduced their “refreshed” chicken sandwiches. Their chicken is shit.

You know what I miss? Old Wendy’s burgers and fries. That used to be my go to in high school and then they redid everything in the trans fat ban. They suck now.
