Michigan’s Sherone Moore to be named head coach

lol your current head coach literally bawled his eyes out on national TV swearing like moron because Harbaugh got suspended. It was the most pathetic thing a head coach has ever done. It is also funny you keep bringing up the "hang 100" quote when you ducked us in the season Day said it, then had to cheat for the next 3 years just to finally be relevant. Despite having a major experience advantage this year, michigan did no better running the ball than OSU did. You don't play more physical and you don't "dominate on the lines".
That was tough behavior.

Chip Kelly is the Offensive Coordinator. What the hell does he have to do with the defense? You also said OSU's offense would be soft. And break in the 4th quarter. When that's the exact opposite of what happened at UCLA in 2021 and 2022.
The original post in that thread of conversation was about Ohio State in totality being soft; which now includes Chip Kelly. I was asked to define soft. So I did, which includes but is not limited to breaking in the 4th quarter. Chip Kelly is soft because his teams are finesse; I do not agree with your assessment of their recent style of play.

Nothing says SOFT more than a head coach stepping down from a P5 program to become an offensive coordinator.

Literally bawling and swearing on national TV about a coach being punished for cheating is the definition of soft. I bet his wife gives him a bedtime.

Okay, but from an offensive perspective, that obviously isn't the case, so you're wrong. They controlled the ball on offense and scored the most points in the 4th quarter in 2021. And were very good again in 2022. His UCLA teams were not finesse. Maybe his Oregon teams were, but that was like 12 years ago. You're just wrong man.

Chip Kelly will fit in at OSU, where beating bad teams but failing against good teams is the norm.
MI failing against good and bad teams was the norm until the cheating began. Thank god for Stallions.

It's a pretty silly narrative. CK's Oregon teams weren't soft either (I know you used the term finesse and Maize used the term soft). Every year CK was at Oregon, they averaged over 200 yards rushing. They averaged over 300 yards rushing in his final two seasons. That doesn't happen if your team is soft.

That link was free and very easy to find, so...I'll just want until you have actual proof of what the NIL dollars are being spent. At the end of the day, the OAM thing is still just your built-in excuse for when we dust michigan and you can cry because OSU cares about NIL.

Also, just so we're clear, you think McCord is a good QB? Do you seriously think a QB is going to put up identical numbers playing at KSU with awful weapons as opposed to at OSU with the best weapons in the nation? Are you actually that stupid?

Harbaugh is a mediocre coach who was pushed over the top by cheating. His previous 6 seasons prove that. It is a proven fact that he was unable to achieve success until Connor Stallions started breaking NCAA bilaws, and nothing you say will change that. Oddly enough, somehow in 2023 when OSU had their worst QB in over a decade, we only lost by 6 against michigan's best team ever. Truth is, michigan didn't control the line of scrimmage at all in 2023, and the stats back that up.

I do look forward to your excuses this year on why your offense that is "built to give us fits" comes up short when OSU stomps you out. I'm sure it'll just be more crying about NIL like what you've been doing.
Yes -- I think McCord is a better QB than Will Howard. He has a better arm than Howard, he is more accurate than Howard and he doesn't force throws like Howard. Howard is more athletic and more mobile.

But please keep up with the excuses, there is nothing better in the world than OAM tears. I still stand by my comment -- the single best move OAM made this off season was taking away play calling duties from Day. That may save his job.

Love those OAM tears. What you mean to say is -- Thank god for Ryan Day. Without him -- tUM wouldn't have bullied OAM all over the field the last 3 years. 700 yards rushing and 12 rushing tds in 3 years :pound:

Tell us more about all the shiny objects OAM has on offense though.

I honestly don't remember. I was just making the assumption that he called them soft or finesse or whatever because of his Oregon teams. Chip's offenses have always been known for great rushing teams. I don't get the soft narrative.

The dUMb fans seem to think Chip Kelly is basically Rich Rodriguez. Which is completely stupid and false.

Thank you for proving you know nothing about football. McCord was well-known for forcing throws (his first half gift-wrapped INT got michigan a freebie TD this year), and his touch was horrendous. He was bailed out numerous times by his WRs. He also is a statue. Please stop using the word "excuses" when you can't even get simple facts straight.

Love to see the broken spirit of the OAM faithful. That is what happens when you get bullied by a team for 3 years.
What? You may break 20 but it won't matter because we're likely scoring 40+.

I'm sure that's what softie says to himself at night when the bad dreams happen.

Who is calling Chip Kelly's offense soft? I couldn't even tell you what type of offense the guy is even running anymore. He has failed at pretty much every spot he has went to as a HC since leaving Oregon. His style of offense works in college though. I'd much rather Ryan Day be calling plays.

Hiring Chip Kelly was one of the best moves OAM made this offseason.

Having a good offense doesn't mean you're not soft. Ohio State had a good offense the last 3 years, they were soft. And Kelly's finesse style is absolutely soft.
