Series Thread MLB Playoffs Cincinnati @ Atlanta

Umpire ks Duvall on an outside pitch. Runners left stranded. No score through 4. That was 2 backwards ks that inning on balls.

Bauer at 61 pitches through 4.

I mean, bottom line, the hitters gotta put it in play. But the Ozuna and Duvall K's were both on outside pitches. Bauer doesn't need help from the umpire

Both ks that inning were on balls. Not strikes. Not quite Eric Gregg type of strikes, but still pretty outside. The one on Duvall was both low & outside. Ump gives a top pitcher a zone like that, hits will be few & far between.
 
There went another warning track out. Making me nervous.

Sorry typo. But still a guy that can 120. As long as he doesn't get in any trouble, pitch count really isn't a worry for this guy
 
Dang! Markakis has hit 2 balls that would've been long gone, but he got around too much on both & hooked 'em foul.
 
Markakis just struck out on a ball that went about 57 feet.
 
Maybe we should stop swinging at every first pitch
 
Bauer only had to throw 7 pitches to get through the 5th. Still 0-0.
