Jimmy Jam is all ears on the illegally stolen information. Of course Harbaugh knew everything.

Notice the blue light ... that's a camera in the sunglasses.
No but you see:
you don’t know it was him because of the sunglasses
everyone does it everywhere, is massive
this is a nothing burger that’ll get a slap in the wrist

Also CMU is at Fault

Now Michigan was stealing defensive play calls too? :pound:

First question is -- Why? You can look at how a defense lines up and immediately tell what type of defense they are running. It is why you see offenses line up like they are going to snap the ball and then look to the sideline.

This is reaching BigFoot, Lochness monster type hysteria now.

Just so we get this straight. Instead of sitting in the stands and getting a better view of the opposing sideline -- he decides to sneak onto the sideline, steal CMU team issued gear and use spy glasses.

Yet when it comes to every other game -- he publicly pays for tickets with his own credit card and sends out payments on his public venmo account.

If the facts are true and this guy truly did buy all these tickets and make payments with his own credit card, etc. -- no chance was he smart enough to pull off the CMU sideline gig. :dhd:

You can come out showing one thing disguised as another.

Kudos for being committed to going down with this sinking vessel.

I should start calling you Thomas Andrews

You don't know what is coming, but you can look at a defense and make an educated guess, and you can almost certainly tell what type of coverage will be run.

And I simply have no clue what to believe and what not to believe. The sideline thing is CREEPY AS FUCK. It also makes no sense what so ever, as anyone who has been on the sideline of a game can tell you -- you don't have much of a view of the other side and any time the teams are within the 40's of the field -- you won't see much of anything. He'd also have to somehow get teams issued gear, a sideline lanyard, get past security, etc. -- I just don't think the guy is smart enough to pull it off

But hey -- this is a guy who supposedly used his own personal credit card to buy tickets and then used a public venmo to pay those helping him. So I put nothing past him

I'd agree having been on sidelines the view is not great compared to the stands.

I have no idea what "Downs Syndrome Macgyver" was getting at there.

Tom, you are joking with this right? There quite literally is a video in last years OSU game of this guy right next to the D coordinator watching the other sideline and right as a play looks to be called in he is screaming something as well as the D Coordinator too. Can’t see good from one sideline to the other? We really using that excuse?

I think the guy was absolutely trying to record the offensive signs of teams. It is why he was always by the DC and he should be fired immediately. Also think if anything comes that Harbaugh had even an iota of knowledge -- he should be fired too.

If you need to someone to steal defensive play calls though -- football isn't your game. Why do you think QBs go up to the line like they are going to snap the ball and then turn to the sideline? Because coaches can look at the defensive setup and know what they are running and will call a player to counter it.

Watch Manning Cast for Monday Night Football. They not only will call out what the defense is running -- they will call out the coverage, what the blocking scheme should be, etc.

Yes -- when you are allowed to be on the sideline with the coaches, i.e. STANDING NEXT TO THE DC -- you are in front of everyone. The players are behind you. When you have a sideline pass -- you are in the back ground. They have 100+ guys on the sideline. The guys who don't even think about going into the game are more important than the guys with sideline passes to watch the game.

Truth be told -- I'd much rather watch a game from 5-10 rows up in the stands than have a sideline pass. You can see everything, you aren't in the way and you aren't pushed to the background.

The difference here Tom is the manning cast isn’t stealing offensive signs and using it to their advantage, they are making basically an educated guess. This dude as you even admit was recording signs and giving them to the Dcoordinator.

Sideline passes are terrible to watch games. They are fine to come out pre-game and watch the players warm up, but once the game starts -- you are more in the way than anything else.

I think Ralphie believes if you have a sideline pass, you can walk anywhere and stand in front of all the players with the coaches and do whatever you want.

The video I posted looked like the dude had but one guy in front of him. Also a camera in his glasses. Perhaps he’s Maxwell Smart?
