The NCAA is going to see if anything actually illegal happened, say "shame on you" for breaking the spirit of the rule and then modify it to prevent it from happening - or - allow in person scouts like the NFL because there is really easy way to prevent and/or regulate it in the modern era.

They had him listed as a "volunteer" before early 2022, but I don't think the NCAA is going to care much about that considering he had a very obvious affiliation with the program.
