More Michigan Cheating

Those pics look so blatantly photoshopped -- it is the only reason i haven't put anything thought into those pics. I can't get past this nefarious, evil conniving plan where the guy uses his own credit to pay for tickets.

The pics? Sure. The videos? That's a little more difficult

lol

sign stealing and cheeseburgers?

so stupid.
Michigan has a huge target right now because Harbaugh refused to cooperate with the NCAA regarding the cheeseburger incident. Anything they can tag Michigan with -- they are going to try to do it.

How? I feel like this has become the de facto go-to for michigan fans yet nobody can explain how or why they look photoshopped. I'm sure you hope they are.

Also what is a low-level, $55k a year university employee doing on the sidelines talking to coordinators while they're in the middle of coaching a game? WTF could he possibly have to say to them that is relevant to their interest?

Guess they forgot to steal Horned Frogs signs in the playoffs last year.

Derp
Well the dude definitely paid a recruiting staffer for something labeled "GA" the day before OSU played Georgia, so it would appear they figured TCU was an easy win (it should have been for any truly elite team) and they were focused on Georgia being their next opponent.

The guy is still a member of the staff -- of course he is going to be in videos. The whole laminated paper pics are blatantly photoshopped.

I will say this -- I 100% believe this guy bought tickets with the purpose of scouting other teams and attempting to steal signs. How it was done makes me believe Harbaugh and Michigan's actual coaches had no clue he was doing this, as you'd have to be an absolute moron to do it the way this guy did it.

I would HOPE the intelligence level of Michigan's actual coaches are slightly higher than that. Going to be interesting to see what else comes out on this, because I just cannot fathom anyone making millions of dollars would say -- use your personal credit card to pay for those tickets. :pound:

Dude, bought tickets to 30 games over 3 years' time, several of which he bought multiple tickets for. He traveled to these games. How in the hell can you possibly explain a guy making $55k a year being able to afford that?

He is not a university employee -- he is on the coaching staff as an analyst. His linked in account specifically said he is an expert at code breaking or something to that extent. Every team has guys whose job it is to try and steal signs, not only in CFB, but high school and the NFL.

Again -- this goes back to me guessing you have never actually played football, so you probably don't realize that.

Good lord -- show me where it says he traveled to all these games. What he did was buy tickets to the games. He had a network of people in the area of those games, which someone in the military will have. Those people went to the games and videotaped.

Hell -- the guy was stationed on a military base in california in 2021 -- you think the military gave him every weekend off for 3 months to go to these games?!?!

LOL you mean his LinkedIn that he mysteriously deleted along with all of his social media over the last 2 weeks? Sure, nothing weird about that...

"yOu nEvEr pLaYeD fOoTbAlL" what a douchebag comment, but you're desperate right now. Fact is, nobody takes your team's success since 2021 serious now and that infuriates you. You were duped into thinking michigan had somehow turned the corner through coaching and development, but it turns out it was cheating this entire time. Even non-OSU fans are calling out how disgusting this is. And I'm 100% sure you were one of those sanctimonious loser fans that called Tressel dirty for his players trading their own personal property for tattoos.

So you truly believe that this guy just randomly decided to do all of this, and continued doing it up to this past weekend, and he's been an actual michigan employee for a year and half, and somehow the team never knew about it nor did they benefit from it? You're that delusional?

wow, a staffer went to watch a potential future opponent. they should get death penalty. All you OSU fans doing all the bitching are still butt hurt from the ass pounding the Wolverines put on you last year.

Do you live in a cave? Take a wild guess why someone in the national media for something they did wrong would delete or set their social media to private? Let me know if you haven't figured it out yet.

As far as Tressel -- I couldn't care less the kids were selling or trading their own personal items. That's not why Tressel was fired. He was fired because they had evidence he knew about it and signed the NCAA compliance agreement saying he knew of no compliance infractions.

If it comes out Harbaugh knew about this. He should be fired immediately. The ONLY reason I'm quite certain he didn't is the utter stupidity with how he bought the tickets.

As far as the not playing football comment I made -- it is your responses that make it blatant. You are making comments that no one who has ever played the game would make. I'd bet a lot I am right. And it isn't a put down, I'm just stating some of your comments are nonsensical.

So, again, just to make sure I understand you correctly - you admit he did wrong. He did all of this stuff that violates NCAA guidelines, he did it for multiple years, he has been an employee of the university, yet nobody there knew anything about it? You really are that level of MnB delusional?

I know why Tressel was fired and why the NCAA got so pissed, but there were plenty of people saying he was dirty because of what the players were doing. Ironic since it's now fully legal.

I played football through HS. I played DE and OG. Let me guess, you're gonna tell me you were a 4 years starter in college somewhere and that's why you have this idiotic, smug disposition?

Again. This goes back to the not playing football comment I made.

EVERY STAFF has a guy who tries to steal the signs of other teams. Want to know what NFL teams do every week? They send 'scouts' to the next opponent's game. You know what high school team's do? They send coaches to opponents games to scout and try to steal signs.

This guy was hired because of his military intelligence background in code breaking. He was hired to try and decipher opposing teams signals. As I stated already -- every school has a guy like that. Every team is trying to figure out the hand signals. It is why you have 2, 3, 4 different guys on the sidelines giving signs, with some being dummy calls and only one being the actual call. You do know that is what they do, right? It isn't just one guy sending in signs for a play. If you use signs, you will see multiple people holding up signs, only one sign holds the play call.

As far as if the team knew about it -- IF Harbaugh knew this guy was buying tickets to games with his personal credit card -- Harbaugh should be fired immediately for utter stupidity. You have 10,000's of thousands of alumni, some fighting with each other to pay for million dollar field trips for the team. They could have had any of them but the those tickets and no one would have a clue. The fact this guy used his own credit card, tells me he did this on his own.

This seems appro pro ... even if it is Dan Woken ...

Well I guess if a media person says so....

Meanwhile, actual lawyers are like "nah". This is the media hyping this up for clicks, congrats. They got yours.

You should be more afraid of the B1G than the NCAA. Your fellow B1G teams aren't going to like this one bit. They might move faster than the NCAA. Might make you forfeit games this year. There go the natty chances.
There's no B10 rule against this either.

Aren’t you leaving out where Michigan uses that footage for an unfair advantage? Not sure if it’s illegal, I don’t really care. But that seems dirty.

Unless you’re saying they just filmed sidelines and never shared it with Michigan, which seems like an absurd assumption.
Using footage that exists of games is not illegal. Michigan found a grey area and exploited it. I see this no differently than the satellite camps in recruiting. Michigan found a way to go around the country and host these camps, side-stepping NCAA rules and the NCAA ended up having to change the rule to stop it.

LMAO holy hell dude, wake up. The program is under NCAA investigation at this moment. The guy is suspended and deleted all of his social media (yet forgot to scrub his public Venmo transactions which paint quite the interesting picture). EVERY STAFF isn't going out there doing this kind of shit. Your program is and has been for the past 3 seasons, which just so happen to line up to the time that michigan miraculously got their heads our of their asses and became nationally relevant again. But sure, nothing to see there.
