More Michigan Cheating

LOL oh those losers were definitely playing that card back in the day, it was fucking hilarious

I love the "they still have to stop it" logic here when it comes to the other team knowing exactly what you are going to do. It makes it a hell of a lot easier to stop it when you know exactly what is coming every time.

Harbaugh hired a clearly not totally mentally stable person who is dumb enough to openly brag about illegally obtaining private documents from the military as the mastermind of all of this. It's just too perfect.
Stalions graduated from the Naval Academy in 2017. During his time in Annapolis, he worked as a student assistant with the football team (curiously, this includes an overlap with the time his LinkedIn reportedly says he volunteered for Michigan). In the course of his conversation with the Power 5 student, which extended over about three weeks, Stalions would claim that shortly after graduation, he obtained a decade’s worth of high school national standardized test scores and GPAs for approximately 500 Midshipmen football players—data that he should not have been allowed to possess. He claimed that he simply went to the Naval Academy’s admissions office and “name dropped” coach Ken Niumatalolo. While he said the admissions office told him to delete the data the following day, Stalions was coy over whether he had and made clear that he used the data to inform his recruiting philosophy.

Nah, I don't think it really matters all that much; especially because there's very literally no lingering effects if true. Also, this will most definitely increase the eyeballs on Michigan. Think of how many clicks media teams are getting on this right now?
People aren’t going to jump out of the cracks in the floors to play non-cons with the cheaters up North, believe that.

You can do whatever the rules say you can do, and you can't do whatever the rules say you can't do. It may be in volition of the principle of the rule, but unless the NCAA has specifically prohibited something (or included it in a definition of an acting qualifier) then it's legal. Which is why I think Michigan is operating in a perceived grey area. You can agree or not and that's where it will stay until the NCAA rules on it. The NCAA bans institutional staff members from scouting games in person. If there's a definition that defines someone as such because they're asked to perform a task for a staff member, then so be it. but that will be where this case is defined.

I think you, and many, are operating on a false premise that the NCAA rules are clearer than they actually are relating specifically to this case. We both agree if a coach went to a game and scouted, this would be case closed.
No, I assure you there is a rule that says you can't contract out your rule-breaking activities and then have no culpability. If you think UM is going to go with that defense I am laughing at you. That you bring that up is laughable and again shows how upset you are and desperate you have become. At some point, you are going to have to stop this nonsense and own up to it. I predict you will one day look back at this thread and be embarrassed.

Are you for real? The guy was literally hired because of his military expertise in code breaking -- it had NOTHING to do with his knowledge of football. It is listed on his Linked In. His JOB was to be on the sideline and try to steal the signs being used by opposing teams.

Again -- you do realize teams are all trying to steal signs during the game? Who do you think is doing it? The HC? The DC who has to call plays? The OC who has to call plays?

Since we are answering one question -- which guy is the one responsible for trying to steal the signs from the opposing team?
I am for real ... and you didn't answer my one question. Why didn't they ask where he was getting this unreal information from? Answer the question.

Here is what should have happened:

1. Let's hire this guy to steal signs during the game, because that's legal. He has military expertise in code breaking.
2. Hey this guy is really good ... he has all of [team name here]'s signals.
3. Hmmm ... he has them laminated ... how did he do that so quickly?
4. Hmmm ... he has them on the first drive of the game ... how did he do that so quickly?
5. Hey buddy, get over here. Tell me exactly how you got those signals.
6. You did what?
7. You're fired ... Compliance on line 1, please.

This is a guy that wishes cancer on kids and equates his wife being sexually assaulted to him getting into a barfight with another man. If you think he has the requisite levels of decency or shame to feel embarrassed, you are going to be disappointed.

You are talking to the wrong person -- I already said, Harbaugh is responsible for his staff and if Harbaugh knew this was going on -- he needs to be fired.

Who's Your Doggy doesn't seem to grasp that this guys sole job was to try and steal signs during games. He thinks he was an actual football coach and was part of recruiting.

He was hired straight from a military base in California.
You can @ me when you talk about me. That hardly seems to be his sole job now, does it?

I never said he was a coach. But, he is clearly on the sideline, at the front line. I can tell you right now that is unusual. If you knew ball, you would know that, but you don't know ball.

As for recruiting, that's what has been mentioned dozens of times. Here is an example:

Connor Stalions is a member of Michigan's recruiting department specializing in analytics. He joined the Wolverines after leaving the U.S. Marine Corps last year but has been a voluntary assistant to the team for a few years.

So, that's where I got the "recruiting" angle from. The funny thing is that is totally irrelevant to the discussion. You do this often - find someone you are arguing with who states an irrelevant fact and you try to use that to discredit what they are saying. Doesn't work with me because unlike you, I know ball.

I know this is going to sound crazy, but they actually televise games where you can see with your own two eyes -- teams signaling in plays from the sideline. Crazy, huh?

And if your job is to try and figure out the signals of opposing teams -- I'm going out on a limb and saying, you've watched a lot of videos (legal and in stalions case, illegal) -- so you come up with a template of what you THINK the signs mean.

Then when you see signs coming in, you try to figure out what is real and what isn't.

Should I go back and number each point for you? That seems to be your thing. It is rocket science though, even though you are trying to make it out to be.

Just stop. The fact you were shocked teams try to steal signs and question why someone is next to the DC tells me all I need to know about your knowledge of football.

Now get back to telling everyone about your sources in the Georgia program. That is much more entertaining.

Holy fuck, speaking of this weekend, have you guys decided which one of you is going to have the brain cell you share?
Did you really just type that out and think it was a good idea? I'm starting to think you are 11 or 12 :pound:

Nice try tard boy but you completely edited that

Seems like Vegas pulling Michigan betting lines off everything is coming at some point. Going to be real interesting to see how they think that is "no big deal"

Vegas just doesn't do that for no reason.

That's what I actually said, I know they are on BYE this week. I never said they pulled it for this week. I applaud your effort though, mommy would be proud of her special son.
