More Michigan Cheating

LOL at thinking the NCAA is perusing OSU forums for NCAA infractions against other schools. Also LOL at Harbaugh ruining any program. We're still closer to winning a NC than michigan, and last year proved that.
I'm not saying that. I'm saying it broke on OSU forums first because the accusation, IE the only other people who would know outside the NCAA, came from the Ohio State staff. That's a pretty easy conclusion to make.

Schiano sure seemed to be onto it when you guys played Rutgers earlier this year.

Nope. new jersey insider sites last night clarified last night that those comments were about reffing and other things. Nothing to do with sign stealing. And the idea that Michigan needed to pre-scout rutgers to that degree is hilarious.

Upon checking in with a well-placed source in the Garden State, a vehement denial about any involvement from the Scarlet Knights was relayed. The word from inside their program is they had nothing to do with this/ I was also told that the interview with Greg Schiano at halftime of this year’s Michigan game where he said, “there some things that are going on that aren't right” is being wrongly attached to this accusation. The Rutgers source says the comment was a complaint about the referees, not about Michigan, and certainly not the allegations that came to light today. The notion that Schiano is carrying Ohio State’s water was also shot down. The source said Schiano isn’t the type to do another coach’s dirty work, let alone for one who didn’t retain him in Columbus after being named head coach in 2019.

Denials aside, Schiano being the complainant makes zero sense anyway. Why would Michigan feel the need to steal signs from Rutgers? And if it had done so, would it really have trailed 17-13 at halftime last year, and 7-0 for much of the first quarter this year before nursing a 14-7 at the break? Did Harbaugh & company just wait until the second half to use their ill-gotten gains just so they could catch the mighty Scarlet Knights off guard? Like I said, that makes zero sense.

Also, the alleged "military grade spy" that is being accused here, and the NCAA took his computer to investigate this, was hired in spring 2022. Kinda ruins the whole "they got good in 2021 because of this!"

Excuses Ohio State and Ryan Day have now used to justify losing to Michigan

1. It was cold
2. It snowed
3. We had the flu
4. They used military grade equipment to steal our signs
5. Covid
6. Outdoor stadiums shouldn't be used in November

Oh no. I hope we walked every single line and broke every low level nonsense rule like this to beat Ohio State. Because every single person on this site knows that's what every single major program does at every single level of this game. Some teams hand out bags of cash, other teams have Conner sit in Kinnick and painfully watch the Iowa offense. I'm also saying in the same breath, that this rule seems particularly dumb.
Well this type of stuff is what we get with legalized gambling. Any of the "that seems trivial" rules that get broken are going to have a much larger impact.

Urban Meyer walks on the sidelines of half our games on Fox. I'm sure he's never had a conversation with Ryan Day about Michigan football after the fact.

This rule is dumb at its core.

Yup, because two different people could never do the same job.

Cool. It's still a rule and your team still has to follow it, and if they don't they get in trouble. You seem to be unable to grasp that. I think a lot of rules are stupid, but still gotta follow them.

Nah, I'm taking the juror nullification route here.

Not as great 1,400+ days and counting.
For MI fans you are correct since they make excuses for any MI cheating. Nothing to see if you listen to them.

Now do MI vs Toledo

No, what the staffer was doing is at the core of the allegation. Some other intern or staffer could have been doing it before.
They certainly don't seem to have evidence of that.
