More Michigan Cheating

This is all circumstantial evidence and he was only helping CMU and he was a lone wolf and this is a big nothing burger and it was just a glare on sunglasses during a night game. I think that’s the reasoning on this page
He certainly could have been scouting. But back to that, the biggest gripe has been about recording of the signs in the stands. Standing on the sideline truly couldn't give you much more information than just watching tape, especially while not simultaneously taking notes. In fact, it's probably worse than watching the tape. You can't see shit from the sideline.

Circumstantial evidence is 100% admissible in court. The B1G and NCAA, not being actual courts anyways , sure as hell as use it as they see fit.
Sure. But they're not going to punish Michigan based on a bigfoot video.

Right....so what evidence is that? We don't have any confirmation on who that is, and looks different than the guy who showed up on the sidelines of a michigan game the next day.

And even if it is him....so is the argument that great harm was done because a guy, with no recording equipment, stood on the sidelines? You can convince me there's some advantage to recording the signs, you can't convince me that there's great advantage to sitting on the sideline in person of a fully recorded football game.
Harbs and the rest of his coach staff were convinced.

so we’ve moved to scouting now. I’m wondering how many new things you’ll come up with this page.

Standing on the sideline with videotape sunglasses allows you to see the signs being called in I’d argue better then being in the stands. But here is another Michigan fan pretending the Sparta Army is in front of everyone on the sidelines.

You seem confused.

Stallions, at the CMU game, wasn't recording. He was simply there on the sidelines.

The prior allegations were that he hired people to sit on the sidelines and record.

One of those things I see a benefit to. The other, sitting on CMU's sideline, I think you'd be hard pressed to argue an advantage.

I'd agree that not everyone there likely knows that but SOMEONE would recognize him.
McElwain said he already looked at the list of names on the sideline visitors and his name isn't on it. Does that mean it isn't him? No.

I've had the sideline pass to EMU games quite a few times. Each time you have to fill out a form, get approved, go thru security where you are ID'd on game day. Then you are told what spots you are allowed to be in and what areas you cannot be (which is the box where the coaches and team are)
You are usually down by one end zone/red zone or the other and they show you specific lines on the ground you can't go past.

There is a long video, the blue light does not exist but for a moment on that video. It is almost certainly a reflection of something in teh stadium.

Except the blue light that is NOT a "single frame" is not on the lense of the sunglasses, it's on the frame.

Well then it sounds like they don't actually have to get approved...because there's a guy there with no information on.
You have to be approved if you are a sideline guest. If you are with the press or with the team -- You don't have to have anything on, though the press will still wear the lanyard's at times, so people know who they are, as they can move about more than guests can.

i was on the sideline at the end of the end zone when A&M beat Nebraska 16-2...horrible view of the game....

but i knew a coach here in Texas and he was able to get me in for free on what was called a coaches pass.

I didn't try but don't think I had any access to the players part of the sideline...

Why would one need to take notes when you have video to review later and take said notes.

You can see the other teams sideline.

He wasnt recording, while wearing sunglasses that had a little blue light flashing, during a NIGHT game? And there is no advantage to doing this? Hahahaha

Maize at least you now admit it was him, two pages ago you said it wasn’t.

You are twisting yourself pretty hard here man.

Sideline passes are cool for the pre-game. They suck for the actual game. You end up on one end of the field or the other. At least in the stands when you are in seats on one end of the field or the other -- you are elevated so you can see the action. Field level -- it is terrible when the teams are on the opposite side you are on.

No one is given access to the players part of the sideline, only coaches, players, medical staff or the guys holding the down markers. Now if you were given access to the players -- that would make sideline passes worth every penny (though I never paid for it either).

I've had sideline passes more than a few times for Cal Poly games, but being a rinky dink shitty FCS program, you can get away with a little more free reign of movement throughout the game. But even being a rinky dinky shitty FCS program. Security and some of the coaches are familiar with who I am. Someone would be able to say "Oh thats that guy". I'd expect someone at CMU to be able to do the same.

Stalion wasn't scouting anything. He is a military trained intelligence officer who specialized in decoding signals. The LAST THING he was hired for is to "scout".

Show me video of a blue flashy thing and not a screen grab. This is called confirmation bias. You want something to be true so you went looking for a way to make it. No, he wasn't wearing recording sunglasses.

I can't fathom any coach in D1 is going to allow another member of a D1 coaching staff to have access to their sideline during a game. Not only the sideline, but let them in the team's area with the coaching staff.

It would be more believable if the guy in the video was in the end zone. The fact he has team issued gear on and is the CMU team box makes it hard to believe.
