Your "did my insiders give me this info" is (1) old and tiring, and (2) not something backed up by anything I have posted.Did your insiders give you this info? I've yet to see anyone from Michigan, sans MnB, who have denied that some form of illegal activity went on with Stalions. Crazy it has to be said -- but the only people that have all the info on the case is UM and the NCAA.
They aren't filing the TRO saying they did nothing wrong -- they filed it saying they need to let due process play out and allow the NCAA to complete the investigation before passing judgement, as they don't have all the information, which they don't.
I'd think as a 'lawyer', you'd understand what due process is.
That being said -- the whole "outrage" over sign stealing is HILARIOUS to me. Almost as funny as going on the road and imposing our will on the nation's #2 rush defense, by running 32 straight times and beat PSU without a HC on the road Will be even funnier when we do the exact same thing to OSU as we have done the last two years. I actually hope they don't let Harbaugh on the sideline, as it will make it that much funnier.
One last time - do I have inside sources at UGA or Bama? Yes, at UGA I have a couple, but they aren't in the program or on staff. They are very large donors, or have parents who were very active at the highest levels of UGA sports in the past. At Bama, I have a very close contact who is actually on staff, but I rarely bring anything he says to any sports board. I also subscribe to a bunch of UGA sports sites and from time to time bring stuff from those sites here. I have never passed off any of that information as my own, citing them every time. I would have thought that people here would want that type of information, and I never do it to act like I am an insider, or that it is any big deal. So, fuck off with that tired trope. It wasn't funny the first time, and certainly not the 100th time.
If you haven't seen people deny cheating, you are fucking blind.
I understand what due process is, of course. I also understand that voluntary organizations don't have to provide due process unless they want to ... due process is a governmental/constitutional legal concept. It's interesting with your Michigan education you don't know that. I also know that every organization, and even the government, allows for some summary types of procedures where they are needed to keep cheaters and criminals from performing their cheating and criminal acts. As you are going to find out and be shocked once again, the B1G has that available to them, and the Commissioner and a group from all schools approved this action under those guidelines and rules.
You are not a victim here. You have perpetuated a fraud and will have to pay the penalty. The time will come when some adults in the room will stand up and say enough. There will be some within UM who are embarrassed by this, and there will certainly be adults outside UM who will hold you accountable.
