It could have at least be Browning or Werner. At least they have some speed (still gonna get beat). It was Tuf Borland. Pretty sure he runs like a 5.3 40

You have literally repeated this or something very similar a half dozen times in multiple threads. The art of trolling requires some subtleness. Throwing the same bait in over and over again after repeatedly getting no bites starts to just look sad.

I'm not trolling but just pointing out why Ohio State shouldn't have been in the Championship game. They couldn't even keep it close.

They have talent coming in. I also think Sevyn Banks will be really good next year. He just wasn't quite ready this year. Wade simply isn't physical enough. Coverage skills are fantastic, but he just gets overpowered on the outside or simply blown by

I'm not sure anyone could keep it close with Bama in the championship game this season. It really was an amazing team, and I've got a feeling that people may be shocked at how good they will be next year too....even though they are replacing quite a few starters. (I think they have 4-5 returning starters on offense, although the defense seems to be returning most their players IIRC).

I thought Clemson would be a pretty formidable team to face Bama once December hit, but they were fools gold. They should be REALLY good next year as they pretty much return their entire defense, so maybe they knock Bama off next season (although they got to get through UGA in week #1).

I hate Ohio State as much as most the nation does, but even I have to admit that I think the results of the championship game would have still likely been lopsided, no matter which college team you put on the field against Bama in that game. Really, no one deserved to be in the championship game. They should have just crowned Bama at the end of the regular season this year. :beer2:

I disagree. A few teams were capable of giving us a game, OSUx just wasn't one of them.

Yes. The way Alabama played Monday evening, absolutely nobody was going to keep it close against them.

And a whole lot of teams could play with us - with enough prep time in the midst of a fairly brutal, cupcake-free season. Some game prep simply had to be overlooked.

The NCG played-out exactly like OSU vs Tennessee...cuz it kinda' was.

That's what I felt too, but tv paid big money for a game, so a game will be played.

I think the gap between Bama and the rest of the teams was quite large this season.
