Here’s an interesting tidbit. I think if Houston wins Cryer will be the first player to win a natty on two different teams.
 
Duke got way too conservative at 1:14.

Houston got aggressive with an 11-1 run.

Houston played the last 1:14 to win and Duke played the last 1:14 not to lose.

Florida and Houston for the ncaa national championship.

But 1st

Central Florida and Nebraska for the crown national championship. Which sounds cooler. Who’s to say which one means more? People are divided.

They haven't really been in too many meaningful close games.

I think playing in a weak ACC was part of their downfall.

I still do think they are the 'best team'
 
People talk about Houston being tough physically. Those suckers are tougher between the ears than they are physically. But tge fucked up part of my family competition bracket. I had Duke and Florida.

No doubt they are the best team talent wise. No one else is even close to them imho.

I wouldn't go that far.

I think Houston, and Florida and even Auburn are close.

I think Vegas got it close this year. I didn't think Tennessee was that far back either, but they were horrendous in their last game
 
Never thought Houston could come back and win this, until the last few minutes. Cougers hung in there and never gave up. Amazing game.
 
That's an all time choke job by Duke. You wanna give credit to Houston? Go ahead, you're wasting your breath. Duke literally threw that game away because they couldn't break a basic press. 7-0 run in 15 seconds.That's not a comeback, that is a massive choke job that will haunt them the rest of their lives

Duke played as though the game was over and they had already won when Flagg hit that 3 around the 4-min mark.

Scheyer coached really poorly down the stretch. They took their foot off the gas around the time you mentioned, leaving James in there as the in bounder, struggling to break the press, not extending defense out enough to guard 3 point shots. Just an epic collapse all around

Any time a team loses a 9 point lead in 2 min, they give the other team help, but ... Houston made shots too.

And they played smart. Let the right players have the ball (Proctor) and fuck up the game.

And a 67% FT shooter nailing 2 FTs with a Final 4 game on the line?
