Nebraska vs Wisconsin thread

You work for the league office?
just telling you what I think. I don't give a shit if you agree. Wisconsin decided to shut it down during game week. They should take the loss for being pussies.

How does this affect the 9th game then if Nebraska and Whisky have played 1 less game than everybody else?
"If two or more teams have the same number of conference losses, but a different number of wins, head-to-head results will take precedence over winning percentage. If the canceled game was between the two teams with the same winning percentage, the records of the two tied teams will be compared based on winning percentage within their division."

Anyone else notice that @Wingsauce7 is much more angry and aggressive on these boards?

You think Nebraska wants to play us and potentially expose their team? It takes 2-5 days from exposure to test positive. Our team was still practicing as if yesterday. A ton of our offensive staff has Coronavirus.

I think Nebraska would rather take a No Contest than have the option be to play us when we are all positive.

You think that's the case?

but the three week quarantine is a rule, right?
Yea that is a rule but the decision to not play was on wisconsin (they probably could have kept testing til it automatically kicked in but fuck wisconsin)

Pre-emptive choice by Wisconsin so they can still get 3 days of practice before Purdue.

Football used to be played by men.
They didnt wana lose, with 3 of their starting QB's out. Fucking pussies

also about 99.999% sure the 3 week window isnt even all for COVID they are worried about the myocarditis which can present even after being better (you know the same thing that can happen with any viral/bacterial infection..... smfh)

No shit.

I didn't know the B1G COVID policy until this hit the news and it's complete bullshit. I mean their protocol is grossly over-designed and will make it nearly impossible for you guys to finish a season that is worth a shit. I suspect this is because the powers that be didn't really want a season anyway so they designed to have a high probability to fail so they could say they were right.

I'm so glad I'm an SEC guy and don't have to deal with this crap.
Like I said above, I'm going to enjoy the games that happen. Ultimately this season si going to be a clusterfuck.

1. I don't blame Wisconsin at all. This is 1000000% the fault of the conference.

2. Someone help me here, if one player has two positive tests they have to sit for 21 days. If 7% of the team tests positive, it is considered an outbreak and high risk and thus have to shutdown. Is that accurate? If so, since Wisconsin has had 12 people test positive, with more likely to come, then shouldn't the entire team be shutdown for 21 days? Not saying I want that at all, I am curious of what the hell the B1G is doing/saying. I am reading/hearing talk about the Wisconsin/Purdue game... but if they are over that threshold then won't they have to cancel that game as well as the Michigan game and possibly the Northwestern game depending on results?

The big 10 has been a shitshow with all of the covid stuff. Not surprising this would be any different
