That was a bludgeoning. Season on the line tommorow and I won’t be able to watch because Bama/UT is gonna be on at about the same time and CFB is priority

Lucky for me, UGA is playing Vandy and a playoff game takes precedent over a Vandy game.

3 or 4. They've gotten 5-6 innings out of most of his appearances since he came over, but some of those were 4 and 5 runs allowed outings. Seems like the plan is to stitch the first six together with some combination of Syndergaard, Bellatti, and Eflin, and then Alvarado and Dominguez to go the last 3.

Really? I thought eflin was the new closer.
 
We really might get a 5 vs 6 seeded NLCS. These 2 teams wouldn’t even have been in the playoffs 10 years ago. Baseball postseason is so unpredictable
 
I’d rather go with a bullpen game today than Morton. The Phillies have murdered him this year and he has just sucked in general.

I thought so too, but not using him last night opens up this possibility. “Stich” is the right word.

If our offense is there no big deal….if it’s not this could be quite the tightrope act.

Playoff experience matters, and Morton has it. You take your chances. If it doesn’t work out, tip your caps and load up for another run at it next year.

But even when Syndergaard was at his peak with the Mets, we’ve always hit him well.

And it doesn’t matter who pitches if the offense can’t score. No homers that amounted to anything this series. Unacceptable really
