For the record, I've heard it's very hard to get assistant coaches to UCLA, USC and Stanford because of the taxes and cost of housing.

UCLA is fucked because all their players can enter the portal for the next 30 days and so other teams can clean them out and there won't be anyone in the portal during that time to find replacements. Chip fucked them hard.

UCLA has been wanting to part ways with Kelly BUT they didn't want to pay him what they owed..

It's not hard to hire coaches and assistants because they are in LA... it's hard to hire coaches at UCLA because the AD isn't stepping up to help the program the way interested coaches feels it needs to. The support is almost non existent there. That's not because of taxes.
