So, Michigan doesn’t have an FCS opponent, yet UGA will play more P5 opponents in the regular season.Michigan's OOC is Colorado State, Hawaii and Uconn. There were SIXTY-TWO FCS teams rated better than Uconn according to Sagarin.
I think they dropped the "no FBS, 1 P5" during COVID. Did keep 9 conference games though. So, Michigan doesn’t have an FCS opponent, yet UGA will play more P5 opponents in the regular season.
I thought the B1G had a rule that required at least one major conference OOC game every season?
Isn’t UConn going back to FCS?Michigan's OOC is Colorado State, Hawaii and Uconn. There were SIXTY-TWO FCS teams rated better than Uconn according to Sagarin.
It became more of a suggestion and less of a rule. Kind of likes B1G’s “rule” on not playing FCS schools. So, Michigan doesn’t have an FCS opponent, yet UGA will play more P5 opponents in the regular season.

Notre Dame, USC, and UCLA are currently the ONLY FBS teams to have never played an FCS team in football.
UCLA drops of that list this season on Sept 10th vs Alabama State.
Notre Dame drops off that list in 2023 if they follow through with scheduled Tennessee State.
That will leave USC as the ONLY FBS school to have never played an FCS school in football.
Never Played an FCS team...but they have played like 100 High Schools, Athletic Clubs, and currently FCS schools before there was such a thing as FCS schools.
Yep. Some FCS > Some G5 > Some P5Michigan's OOC is Colorado State, Hawaii and Uconn. There were SIXTY-TWO FCS teams rated better than Uconn according to Sagarin.
I refer to modern football.
Like post WWII
How 'bout giving USC credit where it is due?
