Trojans CFP hopes died in embarrassing fashion (although at least Caleb Williams had pretty nails) and UW gets kicked out of the Rose Bowl.

That’s not quite as good as Oregon winning the PAC but it’s the next best thing

Maybe. I wish UW played Utah, and USC for that matter, settling the season with unanswered questions based on some weird formula isn't satisfying.

I'm also not making any grand claims about UW. They're a good, but very flawed team. Just like Oregon, just like Utah, just like USC (who also got away with not playing UW and Oregon, by the way). You're the guy claiming Oregon is clearly the better team here, based on who really knows what.
 
Not even factoring UCLA into this whole thing. Jesus, the Pac is just a cluster fuck of mediocrely good teams. A very fitting season to end the Pac 12 as we know it.

But don't worry though, Oregon fans will assure you they're clearly the best of that cluster fuck, because their coach sucks. Or something.

I feel pretty confident in saying if Oregon, UW, and Utah just played eathother a handful of times throughout the year, we'd come out of it without a clear picture of who the best team is. And if any of those teams do get an edge it's probably Utah because they can play defense. And if any team loses an edge, it's Oregon because your coach is a straight up clown.

Umm no deal. Because of Oregon mostly playing in the rose bowl and playoff I am unsure if there are contracts in which a higher bowl within the PAC is obligated to take the 3rd place pac team record. So uw may get a bigger bowl due to contractual agreements but also maybe not.

If the bowls had their choice they’d take Oregon. Also I don’t know these days of the mid tier bowls which is considered the better ones. I grew up with the holiday bowl as #2 behind the Rose but I think within the last few years somehow the Alamo bowl is considered the highest non NY6 bowl for the PAC?

Personal opinion if we aren’t going to a NY6 bowl or playoff give me Vegas, Bahamas or Hawaii bowl. Destination game.

Not even making it to the CFP? Check.
Not winning Nattys? Check.

They had one CFP win and got stomped in the title game. Other than they just have their sparkly uni’s.
