Pac12 expansion - looking to add 4 teams

From new CFP payouts:

BigTen/SEC schools get ~$21 million (each)
ACC schools get ~$13 million
BigXII schools get ~$12 million
Notre Dame gets ~$12 million

Any FBS program not listed above gets ~$2 million
 
This new PAC is the cutest thing ever. Good for Oregon St and wazzu for joining the MWC but feeling good about it because it's the PAC name.

Are the Ducks going to thrive in the Big 10 and keep up a winning record that brings in Blue Chip players?

I think both UW and UO are going to be mid level teams in the BIG 10 and will lose recruits to OSU and WSU who will be the leaders in the PAC 8.

Show me a single opponent for 2026 in football. Show me a way to be included in any of the subsidized money the power conferences give out to football and basketball teams in 2026.

In now way is that money used for anything other than rebuilding the conference. And only a retard could think otherwise. Oregon Stare would be about the 4th best football program and by a mile the best baseball program.

100% disagree. I think Washington will prove to be consistently better than the majority of the Big 10 teams and sometimes even competing for conference titles and playoff spots. And while Oregon won’t quite be regularly on Ohio Stare’s level (only a couple teams in the entire country truly are), they’ll absolutely be right there competing, winning, and nationally relevant. Don’t act like the Big 10 is some impossible juggernaut that programs like Oregon and Washington can’t compete in. Plenty of mediocre to even shitty P4 teams reside in that conference.

No, no, no, no, no. You should remember because Gordon Gee made a reference when your Broncos were beating the likes of OU, Va Tech, etc and making noise about a BCS bid. IIRC, he referred to the Boise schedule as Little Sisters of the Poor and any B1G schedule as Murderer's Row. Murderer's Row can possibly have "mediocre" or "shitty" teams. Just ain't possible.

On the serious side, I agree 100%. And the biggest :headscratch: is those same "mediocre" and "shitty" teams get the same paycheck as the good ones. There were rumors they were invited to the B12 but turned it down because of the academic standing of members in it. If those rumors were true there's zero chance they'd join a conference with Fresno and Boise. And that's overlooking the money aspect and getting out of the ACC GoR which as we see doesn't seem so easy.
