Pet peeves

Self Checkout at the grocery store that locks up if it doesn't recognize that the item you just scanned is in the holding area.
People that do not take the extra 20-30 seconds to push their cart to the cart corral.
People that block a lane in the grocery store so they can have a conversation with another grocery shopper. They clearly see you and do not move out of the way. Legit think you should be able to dome them with a can of refried beans and not get in trouble.
Check out clerks that forget to take off the security gadgets attached to items you just purchased.

Guitarists who come up on stage without a tuner. You guys are the worst pricks in the world. I don't care how fucking good you think your ears are, it's almost impossible to properly tune by ear in certain venues and settings. But yet here you are....
 
And speaking of tuning, what kind of dumbass guitarist tunes his guitar to harmonics (as opposed to open strings)? You obviously don't realize that when using harmonics to tune your guitar, you're tuning it to the twelfth fret. Unless you have absolutely perfect intonation up that high on your guitar neck (don't worry, you don't), then when you play your guitar in the spots where proper tuning is essential, you'll be at least slightly out of tune. What an idiot.

I don' think I've ever seen anyone do this. I have seen people tune on the 12th fret, but never with harmonics.
 
People use still write out checks at the grocery store checkout.

Not a good idea to tune to the 12th fret. The farther up the neck you go, the least accurate your intonation becomes. I could see doing that as a reference to a guitar that's properly tuned but never as the focal point of your tuning.
