I mean...maybe. If it were illegal. I doubt even if he knew the worst NCAA violations, it would really impact the university financially; and he would certainly be the scapegoat for them. And anything illegal he would be tied up in, potentially risking himself.

More than likely it would be a local crime so city/state and not a federal crime so he is asking for someone who is elected to their position to cut a deal for him to go after the biggest and most popular university and fanbase in the state. Not a winning election plan.

Even if he knows about NCAA violations, those aren't legal violations typically. And he's threatening a broken athletic department with irrelevance.

I’ve run into Pruitt a time or two before he made it and I can assure you the dude is a scumbag. Just remember he was the defensive coordinator for Rush Propst at Hoover High School in Alabama and they were as dirty as they come.

This dude isn’t going to get this type of gig again and this really is his last chance at a payday and scumbags will lie, steal and destroy to get what they think they are entitled to.

There is zero chance he is going to accept accountability and if he goes down he is taking everyone down unless he gets paid.

UTjr has more to lose than Pruitt does. He has a team, the same one that just won the case for the KU coach. He isn't hiring some scrub attorneys. And they aren't saying what they are saying without knowing where the bodies are.

One scenario ... Pruitt cheated, but Fulmer knew about it. Kind of hard to fire one for cause, and not the other. And if you don't think Fulmer knew about it, I have some swamp land to sell. No one wants that out in the open. Negotiate, give him 5 million and and an NDA and move on.

Sorry guys, I haven't been on as much and after the unhealthy Saturday, I am kind of trying to take a break from CFB drama.

I would be a lot more worried if not for the NCAA vs. Alston decision this past summer. It has taken all of the teeth away from the NCAA.

The only item that possible could concern me is if there was a situation going on like at Colorado were female co-eds were being used to recruit players. I haven't heard anything about it. I may check out VolNation and get back to you as there are some insiders on that Forum that no more about these situations.
