Thank you...we will be ok.. it's the tornadoes that do the most damage with these storms.. I reallllllly dislike them when they happen at night!!

Guy I follow just said the backside is actually going to have the worst winds so buckle up just because it’s made landfall

Yeah that's what they've been saying.. I'm about 40 ish miles n of I-4.. referring to the Tampa to Orlando stretch and then 35 mile nw of Downtown Orlando to the ne stretch to Daytona.. the I4 corridor is going to take it tough i think.

St. Pete airport got 5” of rain in one hour!!

That’s on top of 7” that already fell.

Worst of the storm surge is Englewood and Punta Gorda.

Praying for you all. I spent a few years in temple terrace. Miss it like crazy. But everything I loved is gone.

Barnacles in Brandon.
Had season tickets to the storm
Leaving work at 5. Driving all the way to st Pete And getting Ray tickets for $20
I went to high school with a bunch of Temple Terrace kids. When I was in high school I worked at the Dairy Queen on 56th and Whiteway.

I have TWC on as side noise while on the computer and I saw that while the weather guy in Tampa was talking, the water sprinkler system of the building they were in front of turned on. Hilarious watching the sprinklers "watering" the grass during the hurricane at night!

Hope that gets on the "highlight" reel! :dhd:
