Move that team to Nashville yesterday and complete rebrand them. The biggest no-brainer in baseball aside from Fenway is a toilet.

shame too because I think the Rays are really a great brand. I actually love the Rays and Marlins looks, and that won't translate to landlocked cities.

Yankees would never sell it.

Local word is that one spot, which IMO would be perfect, is building om the Mid Florida Fairgrounds site. Plenty of room, outside of downtown but still close, and the amphitheater also got damaged and is rarely used except for a few concerts during the year. They could build a stadium there and still have plenty of room for all the other events that happen at the fairgrounds.

Yankees would never sell but I like the GMS location. Utilizing the RayJay for parking was great. Add another deck to that bad boy and it’s done. The paranoia about the heat/sun has been overblown imo.

I don’t know where the Fairgrounds are, I just know I want them to stay the fuck away from Ybor.

GMS is a great location, haven't been there for the Rays but have been there for spring training. And yeah the heat issue is overblown IMO, especially since most of the games would be evening/night games.

Fairgrounds are literally across I-4 from the Hard Rock Casino, where I-4 and 301 meet.

Agree about Ybor. It's already too crowded and parking/traffic would be a bitch, and while it may benefit some bars there, gameday crowds would ruin the rest of Ybor.
