Saban takes a MASSIVE shot at Jimbo.

They will. We need to enlighten you on aggies. They don't think like the rest of us. Remember, this is the same place that has things such as midnight yell practice, milkmen for cheerleaders, a band that believes in straight lines and Silver Taps. Dinero es facil.
they really want to win a title in the near future.. after that I think they re-adjust.. still have collectives that will attract top players but maybe not go as far as this past class

What's wrong with people? They go overboard with the bread and circuses distractions and ruin things for everyone else.
I've managed $ for rich people for 30 years. The one message I've delivered that entire time is "Just because you can doesn't mean you should."
I don't guess A&M has been in your conference long enough. You and that hairy dawg attorney haven't figured out aggies yet. They'd think more along the lines of "Just because we can, we will."

And I can tell you if not for sports I wouldn't know Auburn exists. Not being shitty, that's the truth. Probably a big deal closer to the campus but can't think of a reason I would know them outside of sports.
Let's be honest that is probably 80% of schools.

Who would know Clemson existed or Loyola or Gonzaga or Baylor if it wasn't for sports? If we didn't have sports more than likely people would think there is a state school named after the state and everyone else would probably be only known regionally.

My nephew is getting an air & space welding degree from a community college in Huntsville called Calhoun Community College and none of us had ever heard of it and we live in the state. If my brother hadn't researched it because his son was interested in welding we probably still wouldn't know it exist. I'm glad it does because the kid is probably going to end up making more than any of us before it is all over. He is going an extra year to get a double degree that has to do with assembly using composite materials.

I also found out that UAH (University of Alabama Huntsville) has an incredible engineering department that is sponsored by NASA and 98% of their graduates already have jobs in the air & space industry straight out of school. Who has heard of UAH but once you did who wouldn't put them on their list if your kid was interested in that industry?

That is just the way it goes.

2. When Mike Slive took over the SEC relations between schools were at a low point and Mike told everyone that enough was enough and that all beefs were to go through the conference office and NO one was to talk SEC laundry publically. The result was that SEC programs getting on probation went way down and the league started supporting the schools and helping them navigate issues. Now all of that is starting to unwind.
You guys wanted A&M, Texas and OU. Want to add SMU to the mix too?

It is like when the Heat had that party when they got Lebron and the not 1, not 2....stuff got out and Heat fans all said...he didnt know he was being recorded because it was just supposed to be for Heat season ticket holders. lol
haha, is that true? I thought he did that as part of that ESPN "The reveal" or whatever they called it.

Absolutely that way with most schools, not just Auburn. Baylor I knew before sports, but because I'm closer to them.

Eh, it depends on what school you want to get into. When I was there they cracked down on the business school and it was damn near impossible to transfer into. jacked the GPA to transfer in from 2.0 to 3.5. Funny thing is I had been accepted to the engineering school which was supposed to be much harder to get into, but couldn't get to the Lowry Mays school. Vet school is getting easier to get into because there is such a growing need since people are getting out of that industry.
...and Tech's is now open in Amarillo.

yeah but they are gearing more into livestock rather than domestic animals. BUT if you are into that, after graduation you do 3 years of rural residency.. they forgive your school loans. Rural vets are desperately needed.

They need to chill out, man.

I rarely get to bash Texas since "TexasMan" disappeared years ago.

That is short-sighted because I promise you the University of Alabama system is infinitely bigger and gets more funding than Auburn but if you look at academic rankings, quality of enrollment, and overall reputation Auburn is killing it. The main reason for this is that Auburn Alumni always give to the school first in fact it is a bit of a challenge for the athletic department because the majority of big donors give to academics (as they should).

aTm is a fantastic school academically and @JuiceTheGator is right you guys could surpass Texas if that was your focus.
But no, they want to be alibammy.

demolition funny kid GIF

First Kiffin, then Leach, and now Kirby… looks like Saban is gonna have a lot more coaches in his corner than Jimbo In their upcoming cage match

Poor schools unite, I guess. Odd that powerful football teams are scared to compete.

oh so we are Florida status? Gonna be a fun kiddie table, then
Florida is a known unknown. Whole new sitcheeation.

Tejas is an unknown known. We all know you'll lose, but we're not sure in what hilarious way you'll lose, yet. You're the Southern version of the Badgers.

aTm will be the brunt of NCAA attacks over the next couple years. Bureaucrats always want to point to a culprit when the stooopit rule they put into effect gets mauled to shit, like NIL. aTm took it to the obnoxious extreme so quickly, the regulators will feel the need to attack, hard. They fucked.

Kirby is a faggot.

A&M will be fine. There may be a token wrist slap like the first out of the gate usually gets, but nothing that will be bad.

True. Ironically, you're supporting what Saban said in his cross-legged diatribe. Until the NCAA gets legal protection and more teeth, it can't do much.
However, I'm sure they're working on it.
