You expect one of the top academic institutions in the nation to compete with and beat Alabama, which exists for the sole purpose of generating revenue via big dumb illiterate football players?
If they are going to field a team, then yes. You can always go compete in the Ivy league ... I use the term "compete" broadly.

I can't remember if it was in this thread or not but someone referenced Saban's record against the SEC East and it is unbelievable. He has only lost 3 games in his entire tenure at Alabama and all 3 were last century.
2007 - His first season at Alabama when he went 7-6 he lost a close one to Georgia
2008 - SEC Championship Game loss to Tim Tebow Florida coached by Urban Meyer that went on to win the National Championship
2010 - Loss a close one to a good South Carolina team coached by Steve
