In fairness he's owed me money for well over a year. This was just the date one of the hearings fell on. Plus, that case ended up costing me 1 1/2 days when I was out of town with my husband. So I don't give a shit about the timing.

Speaking of which, I usually put on surf and turf for New Year's Eve dinner and I mentioned that this weekend. Kids said they want to try king crab legs instead of lobster tails.

Frikken $46/lb. Dios mio.

christmas eve was always lobster tails growing up, i never cared for it and by 12 they got me veal parm from a local restaurant, which was my favorite (probably wasn't good stuff, it was a polish restaurant, probably not even veal). I guess, try out different things. it took years before i was like, yeah, i don't care for lobster (at least I knew it was the one time a year we had it and it was special occasion, but if it was costing them a few bucks... let me try something i like).
