Not anymore. Finally got rid of that shit a few years ago. Our liquor stores can even have coolers now.
We drink Lone Star and Shiner Bock in Austin. What do y’all drink in OKC/Norman?

I'm in the Tulsa area. Shiner is one of my go to beers. Hell, that's what I had in the kegs at my wedding reception. I'll drink Lone Star when I'm in Texas. We've got a beer renaissance going on around here. Lots of microbreweries have opened up, with a lot of damn good beers.

We went to see TX-CU in ~1996, a van load of Mexicans on a road trip.
We drank this one beer, Fat Tire, while there. I remember thinking… this is do good, they should sell it nationally.

I drink Shiner Bock too man. And the new Mexican cervasa they have now is outstanding. I would drink Yuengling too if it was available here.

Lone Star suspended making ”Rio Jade” Mexican beer because their brewery is having capacity problems or some such.

But wtf us this??? I love the mexsplaining at the bottom.

Thats it. Have you tried it? I have a case of that stuff in my garage. Taste a lot like Sol if you've ever had that.

I never liked Sol.

I love how this is so try-hard.
“Let’s make a Mexican beer. We’ll throw a popular Mexican interjection as the name. We won’t change our brand font, though. Also, we’ll use Southwestern USA colors cuz that’s Mexican, right? Oh, also, we’ll throw in some of that plant they make tequila from.”
Having said all that, I will probably try it.

Yuengling is available now.. Seen in it here in the Galveston area, Houston, Austin, Dallas.

Not in Okie land. Ill have to get some when I get your way or when Im in Arkansas.
back in 2016/2017.. i would stop at a gas station on the border of Arkansas and TX just to get 2 12 packs. My friend in Dallas loved them..so when I drove in from VA I would get some for him. Doesn't need that anymore, just a matter of time til they will be available up there too

I have to go to NW Arkansas for work occasionally. Always bring back Yuengling. One of my favorite beers.

yep.. when i was stationed in NC for a bit.. I found a Steelers friendly bar outside Jacksonville. I thought the official beer was Rolling Rock, but to my surprise..it was Yuengling.. then when I got stationed later to Chesapeake, VA.. the steelers bar in the area also served it.
