Nebraska Gold Takes Boulder 18U
Coach Beth Singleton’s Nebraska Gold isn’t just pitcher Jordyn Bahl, the #1 player in the 2021 Extra Elite 100—the team can hit too as shown by the big comeback win to capture the Boulder IDT 18U title.

Trailing 6-4 in the top of the fifth inning, the Gold exploded for seven runs to win the IDT 18U title 10-6. The inning was keyed by a grand slam by Ruby Meylan, the 2022 pitcher/utility player ranked #53 in her class who had a 2-for-3 day with four RBIs.

Bahl and Grace Hamling also hit two-run homers in the win for Nebraska Gold which defeated two top California teams—the OC Batbusters and Corona Angels—earlier in the day.

The Sooners have now outscored their opponents 87 - 2 in 9 games and now have 21 HRs in 9 games and winning 85% of their games by run rule.

I think I saw the over/under on losses on the season for OU at 2.

It's like the whole team is a cheat mode. Unreal.
 
OU now 25-0 on the year. 80% of their games have come by run rule.

I was at the Iowa game yesterday where OU won 20-0 in 5 innings. 6 home runs in the game including Alo with number 99 of her career. The all time home run queen will be the first ever to hit 100 home runs. Also freshman Jordy Bahl pitched another no hitter.

Sooners beat Texas Tech 21-0 in 5 innings today sweeping this series as well. OU now has 21 shut outs, has won 36 in a row and now owns the NCAA record for best start to a season in softball history, and has thrown 5 no-hitters. Oh, and they hit 17 homeruns this weekend to bring their season total to an even 100 home runs in 36 games. That is 2.78 homers a game, which is ahead of last year's pace.
 
OU improves to 38-0. Beat texass yesterday and just run ruled them again today 9-1 in Austin. Going for the sweep tomorrow.
 
Texas won, 4-2. I'm honestly ok with getting a loss. Now they don't have to worry about the perfect record.

Nebraska went 2-0 in Ann Arbor. The third game was cancelled. They swept Michigan State. They lost to Iowa State early and beat Kansas two out of three. Their next two series will be telling. They host Minnesota and go to Wisconsin. Both are solid teams. We might find out if they really are the best team in the BIG. But I don't think that's quite been decided yer. If they win two out of three in Madison, you'll have a good argument.

Also Nebraska would have been epic at pitching this season if Jordy Bahl would have stayed home.
