TV Series Star Wars: Andor

Yup you can roll right into NH.

I did find it cool how closely, except for one character, they were able to get the actors in Andor and Rogue One looking.

I have “complained” about this already, but I just don’t understand why they recast Organa. He wasn’t needed for the Andor story at all.

Yeah he had very few lines. Is there going to be an Organa spin off, or another line that he will be a part of? Maybe something about the council.

Apparently they tried to get Jimmy Smits again, but he had scheduling conflicts and they couldn't work around them. That said, I agree he wasn't really needed for Andor.

That’s what I heard as well. But the character did NOTHING. Why do the recast when the character could have easily been written out?

It is like if the recast Coach in Cheers just have him show up for 1 scene every 3rd or 4th episode in the background wiping the counter. Either just refer to the character through dialogue or don’t. No need for the recast.

Unless Smits had informed them he was no longer interested in playing the role, and the “schedule conflict” story is complete BS.

From what I read he wanted to do it but neither side could make it work. IMO the character was unneeded and only in a couple of scenes. If they wanted a scene/cameo with Bail, they probably could have filmed something along the lines of Smits doing a holo call (or whatever they call them) when they're on Yavin at the end which would've only taken maybe a day to film.

Rogue One has an argument for being the best Star Wars movie of them all. I agree they did a great job on integrating everything.

Now the Obi One Kenobi series was stupid. The fact Kenobi meets Lea as child changes the dynamic in an unbelievable way. They went too far and I just try and erase it from my memory.
