TV Series Star Wars: Andor

Finale rocked. Series rocked. This is some damn good Star Wars

BTW

If you haven't seen the finale yet, there is an end credits stinger.

Disney just announced at D23 Brazil that season 2 will release on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

Season 2 (final season) trailer 2:

Solid first 3 episode chapter. Nothing explosive, but a lot of subtle, character driven stuff. The settings and cinematography are gorgeous.

The attention to detail is pretty impressive.

That's Gilroy. Every future Star Wars show should be learning from this.

so have they dropped the entire season already? I just knew it was out like a week ago.

Looks like they are doing 3 eps a week.
i spent a month binging one piece on crunchyroll that wasn't available elsewhere and am starting to catch up on other stuff.

I binged Season 1 right before season 2 came out.
The first season was great.

Right now, all the parts are moving and they have done a great job of developing all these characters and plots.
They create tension in unusual places (recovering the hidden microphone).
It's great to see familiar faces and I've often wondered if we will see any pilots from the original Star Wars Ep. 4 battle scene.
Wedge, Biggs, maybe even a shout out to Porkins?

No. They are doing something unique. There are 12 episodes this season but they will be dropped in 3 episode blocks each week. Each block is a "chapter", an event that happens over a year in Cassians life. So for example, the first 3 episodes take place 4 years before events of Rogue One. The 2nd chapter (eps 4 thru 6) take place 3 years before Rogue One.

Damn. Episode 8 is just as good, if not better, than One Way Out from Season 1.

Finished it.

Wow.

The first 6 episodes (or two chapters ever how you want to say it) are a little slow but still good. The final 6 episodes though? Fan fucking tastic.

It's a shame it's over.

What a range of emotions to go along with tense action/set pieces.

I just tried to rewatch the last 3 episodes. I think I liked the first half or first 9 better. the last 3, maybe i've been too sauced, they just went by for me like okay are we doing anything here?

Yeah, you must've been sauced lol.

That being said, fantastic series and story. If they ever do any other stories between ANH and ESB or between ESB and ROTJ, I'd love to see more of Kleya.

I binged season 2 late last week and weekend then rolled right into Rogue One and watched that to see the entire storyline. I wish all the series were this well done.

Watch R1 and NH back to back. They fit so well together.

Yup you can roll right into NH.

I did find it cool how closely, except for one character, they were able to get the actors in Andor and Rogue One looking.
