I think Taylor was a good guy, and I like Grohl as a person as well. This is a big loss for the Foo Fighters and music world. Yeah others can do what he did, but he was the right guy for that band. Like Ringo with the Beatles. Not even the best drummer in the band, but the right guy for that group. 50 is too young.

The friendship between Grohl and Hawkins is the biggest thing for me. This is going to fuck up Grohl for a long time. He refers to Hawkins as his "soul mate"
