I have found myself being less and less willing to take the time and spend the money to see a lot of OU home games And we have stopped going to most away games except for Texas and Oklahoma State. Truthfully, playing a lot of the Big XII teams no longer sent a tingle up my leg. So I just give our tickets to someone else who doesn't have any other way to see a game in good seats and let them enjoy the experience. But I can hardly wait for SEC teams to come marching into Norman acting like they own the place and see what happens when OU has a steady diet of really good opponents. And I'm looking forward to making trips to many of the SEC schools because I know it's going to be wild as hell when Oklahoma rolls into town to play them. We already know the Alabama fans are great visitors and great hosts; we'll see about the other schools.

You guys will be pretty competitive but what could bite you in the SEC is the teams that are not the big names that may surprise you. You will come off a win over someone like a Georgia and feel like you are great and get an Ole Miss or South Carolina road matchup and those are the games that bite you in the SEC.

I do think Oklahoma will be fine in the SEC. Perhaps you guys will give Bama a run for their money.

What, precisely is the issue? Is your junk small?

I don't even remember that comment but I do think it was related to lesbians if I remember correctly and how gay people engage in a "poor man's" version of sex. Something you do often apparently. Now stop stalking me, it does become you well.

Yes, I am. In the SEC there will be more people helping to pull the wagon. In the Big XII it was just us and the Horns. There will always be parasites in any conference but it has gotten ridiculous in the Big XII.
What exactly does this mean? You want more money then all the others but wonder why others aren’t pulling their weight?

I can see your frustration here. It is sad to see the demise of the Big12. Heck, I wish Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri, and A&M would have stayed and they kept the 12 original teams. However, it will be fun as an SEC fan to see OU and Texas playing in the SEC. They will probably crush my Vols right now (well at least Oklahoma, Texas might be a good game since both of us our struggling big-time). However, still good to see them on the schedule (even if it likely won't be very often).

I just don't want the Big12 drama. A&M is already whining a lot instead of seeing the good in the move. I think Texas is starting to see that they will probably not be the King anymore in the SEC but they are likely fine with that.

Yeah, you summary of opinion on how Texas and OU will do in the SEC doesn’t answer my question. Thanks though

What I was referring to is it was Oklahoma and Texas that set the rest of the schools up for big payouts in the Big XII. Without those two schools everyone else would have been getting a helluva lot less money over the years. I'm not totally opposed to equal revenue sharing if there isn't just a couple of schools generating the lion's share of the (shared) revenue. In the SEC there are several schools that more than pull their weight.

I’m for taking a cut for people that bring in the lions share. I’d be for going off how the previous year was and paying accordingly. But wanting a lions share and then wondering why others aren’t pulling their wait is kinda funny.

I don't want the lion's share of conference revenue. What I do want is more people helping pull the wagon as hard as OU does. There will always be some schools that can't do that and it's just a fact of life. It takes those schools to fill out a schedule and occasionally they do jump up and have a good year.......even beat an OU kind of school. That's what makes college football so much fun because you never know when lightening might strike.

I understand OUs been quite comfortable at the top but pretending no one pulls the wagon is BS.
And I know you are just talking football which is humorous considering the travel partner you are heading south with hasn’t pulled their weight in years even though they have all the advantages in the world.

A lawyer on twitter said that if the remaining Big12 schools sue UT for breaking the GOR... good luck. Apparently UT is a sovereign immunity state and they won't get a dime. It's the same reason why Leach can't get the rest of his money from Tech.

I'm pretty confident that UT and ou begin SEC play next fall ('22).

A wagon is not a mascot it is for little kids to ride in and pull stuff around. Now before it really wasn’t any of our business so we just politely laughed behind your back but if you join the conference then that toddler carrier reflects back on us and that’s not acceptable.

Fortunately it will be a while until you officially join so there is time to come up with something different and implement, just make sure it is appropriate and not embarrassing.

Thank you
you need to choose your words more carefully.. we are all brothers now #SEC #WeAreAllInTheSameGang

I'm here for every fluke UT win in the SEC next season #AllGasNoBrakes

If you don't like the ole chuck wagon, you don't get to eat.

You're angry. I understand. But I think West Virginia is going to end up in a conference that is a lot better fit for you anyway. "Pulling the wagon" mostly refers to how many people watch the games because a certain team is playing. Yeah Texas sucks but they've got a whole lot of people watching them suck. The other way a team (in any sport) can "pull the wagon" is to beat their out of conference opponents and win their bowl games, March Madness games, College World Series games, etc. It's all a process. But some of the schools in the Big XII have fallen flat on their ass in different ways and it's finally caught up with them. Don't worry; WVU is going to be fine.
