Not sure how you can have talks about this going on for 6 months and not a word gets out.

Amazing really.
That is incredible. It’s also funny some outlets have said the possibility of them playing in the B12 past 2022. I’d be shocked if they get to 2022. Be a lot of hurt feels and uneasiness in the room from here on out in the B12.

Statement from Oklahoma State Pres

I find this part of his statement hard to believe...even with as many golf championships as they have. But I ain't gonna research it.

"Our commitment to our student-athletes is top of mind, and their best interests will be represented prominently. We enjoy a proud athletic heritage with more National Championships than any other Big 12 university, and we will aggressively pursue the opportunities ahead."

Texas Should Go Independent

"While the money is no doubt significantly better in the SEC, since when was money an issue at Texas?"

You could replace Texas with several other big name schools in this statement. I understand why the TCUs, Louisvilles,Washington States, etc of the world have to pursue the biggest payouts, but many of the big name schools can make one phone call and generate a pile of money....at least on the athletic side. I know two in Texas can. Two in Alabama can.

I've been wrong. I've said all along the conference realignment crap was about money. It may have been for the smaller guys. But for those that have (or can have) plenty of money, it is about something else.

Possible. Texas, OU and the SEC could come up with the money to make it happen. That's a 9.5 mil each parting gift for the remaining schools. Hope they spend it wisely.
They should buy some OU swag with it.

You’re not making an argument to leave for the SEC.
Yes, I am. In the SEC there will be more people helping to pull the wagon. In the Big XII it was just us and the Horns. There will always be parasites in any conference but it has gotten ridiculous in the Big XII.

When you have to pay to leave a conference, you know that conference sucks.

Even then, UGA has issues with its offense so they have the players but the offensive schemes seem to struggle. I would say Texas A&M is starting to look good, especially with the class they got coming in. Florida is in the mix as well but right now, I would take Oklahoma over Florida.
You really need to never comment on UGA. Every time you do, you make it clear you don’t know what you’re talking about

Can’t wait until you visit Baton Rouge. it’s a shock to most SEC people so you will lose your mind.
We know what they're like. I have personally watched LSU play in person against OU and one other team in bowl games. Nothing like sitting around a bunch of people who are drunk, wearing dirty bowling shirts with a tiger sewn on it crookedly and most of them cussing like pirates even in front of kids. And they've got mosquitoes down there big enough to fuck a turkey buzzard standing flat footed.

tfw you finally get the Escalade but it’s got 300k miles, makes noise when you turn left, and has a dreary mud-themed tie dye design interior.

I have found myself being less and less willing to take the time and spend the money to see a lot of OU home games And we have stopped going to most away games except for Texas and Oklahoma State. Truthfully, playing a lot of the Big XII teams no longer sent a tingle up my leg. So I just give our tickets to someone else who doesn't have any other way to see a game in good seats and let them enjoy the experience. But I can hardly wait for SEC teams to come marching into Norman acting like they own the place and see what happens when OU has a steady diet of really good opponents. And I'm looking forward to making trips to many of the SEC schools because I know it's going to be wild as hell when Oklahoma rolls into town to play them. We already know the Alabama fans are great visitors and great hosts; we'll see about the other schools.
I will say The Grove is my favorite place to go to a game and tailgate. Really the best environment in College Football

A wagon is not a mascot it is for little kids to ride in and pull stuff around. Now before it really wasn’t any of our business so we just politely laughed behind your back but if you join the conference then that toddler carrier reflects back on us and that’s not acceptable.

Fortunately it will be a while until you officially join so there is time to come up with something different and implement, just make sure it is appropriate and not embarrassing.

Thank you

Whoa Whoa Whoa...slow your roll, that's my pocket your sticking your grubby little hand in land thief. That there is a Tejas style move that does not appeal to me.

For a college football thread, you sure do love talking about sodomy. Please keep it relevant to the topic at hand, your inability to give women orgasms.

Stalker much? You changed the topic lol.
