TV Series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

I really enjoy the aesthetic of the show and how high quality it is in that regard. The issue is there are too many storyline going on that I really don't care about. I'm only really interested in the scenes centered around the blond elf chick and elron, sauron and the wizard dude (just him, not thr annoying hobit girls).

Don't care for the people that came from that island kingdom, the black elf, the dwarf and his blsck wife, the habits and all the other uninteresting characters.

Series needs more bare tiddies.

Since Tom Bombadil has been identified, who do you think "The Stranger" will end up being?

I too have enjoyed this show. Looking forward to watching Ep 7 tonight!!! Then only 1 more show in this season I believe

Kinda hoping they throw a curve ball and make him Radagast or Saruman.
Had not even considered he could be Saruman, but that would be a twist.

I'm only up to EP 3 so I still don't know what happened to Nori and the other Harfoot girl after he created that dust storm in EP 2

I won't spoil anything for you then.

I think it would be cool to show tuncorrected in ME, Saruman was a good guy and uncorrupted and had actual concern for its citizens. Gandalf is too obvious.

And as @temptresstoo mentioned I thought Tom was Radagast also.

But at first when they started heading to Ruhn, it crossed my mind that maybe he was one of the Blue Wizards mentioned disappearing into the east.

Saruman was probably "good" for quite some time. Corrupted later on.

They messed it up from the start…..

Valendil is Isildur’s son and grandson of Elendil. When they all went to war against Sauron, Valendil stayed in Rivendell so wasn’t present when Isildur died at the Gladden Fields. He is the direct ancestor of Aragorn.

I currently choose to pretend that the show writers will have Isildur name his child Valendil in honor of the one that died this season.

I’m watching and plan to keep watching but not in love with this series.

The last episode answers some questions.
