Welp, tried to give it away there in the 4th, but pulled it out in the end. Talking about that first. I just don't understand going for it there. I would have tried to draw them offsides again, took the penalty again and punted. Just didn't make sense to try that run with a QB that is prone to fumble. I'm definitely out on Sims, I was really hoping he'd come in and look like the guy we expected at beginning of year but clearly not where he should be.

D - good as usual against a crappy offense. I like how they fly around, would have liked to have seen more sacks but thought there was a lot of holding by both teams not getting called. I do sometimes feel our D is over hyped. Gave up some chunk runs today and lucky they had a lot of dropped balls.

Our O. Man, that long drive and then the quick score, both were things of beauty. I thought Sat did a much better job of getting them into successful plays. Much more option, which even if only 3 or 4 yards, still better than that turn around hand off that usually only gets stuffed. Fumbles, man, not sure if maybe they have gotten to the point they are over thinking it or what but I'd have been much happier with this game if we had 0 turnovers.oh, and I thought our OL played much better even with 3 new starters, not great but definitely something to build on. There two outside guys #4 & 5, were really good.

Saw on Twitter, someone posted our 2024 QB isn't on the roster. Anyone want to speculate who we could go get? I can't see down field routes on TV but seems like we have some decent young guys, need someone that can hit them.

Nebraska vs Maryland game will be on Peacock. Thank goodness I pay for that for the wife.
 
 
Rhule is right to call out the replay refs. Idk about you guys, but it really feels like the refs are just out to get the Huskers and it's felt like that for a while. These are 2 easy calls that they fucked up and there is no accountability.

 
Please tell me Sims has no more eligibility and is gone after this year. Are there any QB's in Huskers recruiting radar or any QB's that are interested in playing at Nebraska, recruit or transfer?? I haven't heard Rhule's post game interview, interested in that. This is really down right awful that they can't put a QB on the field that is able to play that position.

this is my question as well. gotta be someone out there willing to move up from MAC or AAC or Sunbelt or CUSA or maybe even FCS that can at least hit open receivers and go through their reads. I went to the game yesterday, so listened to the BROverreaction on way home and one caller mentioned going as low as top QB in the RMAC (Division 2)

Seems to me Sat is just teaching them to throw to 1 guy no matter what on plays, Sims INTs were both boneheaded throws into coverage, the 1st potentially taking points off the board as we were getting close to FG range and the 2nd, just threw it to a guy triple covered. Haarberg was more on accuracy, Fidone was wide open but he threw it high and behind. Purdy's, not sure if you can blame that on lack of preparation, maybe it was supposed to be a pick play to Kemp but MD played it different, the guy who made the interception fell off the receiver Purdy should have thrown it to, wide open TD. and as everyone everywhere has said, a huge part of that is on Sat calling a pass in the 1st place, run the ball, if you don't get TD, you wasted time and take the 3 points. make MD drive length of field for a TD to win or FG to tie.
