Nebraska Cornhuskers The Official 10000 posts for a Husker Conference Championship

Nebraska is -12.5 hosting Northwestern?

Nebraska is 6-6 against them since joining the Big 10, with only two of those games decided by 12 points or more.

This is the same Nebraska that did their damnedest to give that game to Illinois.
This is the same Nebraska that has spent years playing down to their opponent.
This is the same Nebraska that is 2-7 coming off of bye weeks since joining the Big 10.

It's just too soon for Rhule to get this team turned around.

When was the last time you saw Nebraska look good coming out of a bye week?
So, next week Purdue is coming off bye week. Any idea how Huskers have fared vs teams coming off their bye week?

I figure Nebraska's fortunate to be playing some teams with equally bad offenses.

There could be 2 more wins in here.

@ Illinois: 81st (W 20-7)

Need Sat to watch more game tape from T-magic years and copy more plays. Just annoying the crap he is doing. Too many drop back passes, turn around and hand off is stupid as it takes away the QB run threat or need to at least call a few naked bootlegs with pass options. Still need way more option/read option with more play action off of that. Look at the long TD to Malachi, looked like the option was wide open on that play too.

As I've said multiple times, I felt like that option pass was one of the first times I've seen Sat set up a play with something else he has previously done. Can they hire me as a guy to just come up with fresh ideas for plays? I saw people complaining that he was recycling stuff from TO, dudes, take as much as you want as long as you learn how to mix it up right instead of the crap we r seeing.

NW worse team in this league for a reason, so I didn't take much away other Sats shit play calling and offense not executing consistently. Similarly on D it was good but not great, gave up some big plays and better offenses would have capitalized more on our mistakes. However, they did what they were supposed to against and inferior team.

NW is light years ahead of IU, so 2nd worse team I would say.

Huskers women’s soccer has won a share of the B1G regular season title.

We will win out and face meatchicken again. Enjoy the outback bowl

Not impossible. However, with this O-line and young skill players it's going to be difficult for them to play as clean and consistently as they'll need to.
Nebraska's only -3 hosting Purdue

There are no offensive juggernauts in the West, so I figure every team to lose at least one more each. If you remove Michigan, Ohio St, (even Rutgers) it's basically a crap shoot.

Wisconsin (3-1): Ohio St, @ Indiana, Northwestern, Nebraska, @ Minnesota
Iowa (3-2): Northwestern, Rutgers, Illinois, Nebraska
Minnesota (2-2): Illinois, @ Purdue, @ Ohio St, Wisconsin
Nebraska (2-2): Purdue, @ Michigan St., Maryland, @ Wisconsin, Iowa
Northwestern (1-3): Maryland, Iowa, @ Wisconsin, Purdue, @ Illinois
Purdue (1-3): @ Nebraska, @ Michigan, Minnesota, @ Northwestern, Indiana
Illinois (1-4): @ Minnesota, Indiana, @ Iowa, Northwestern

Total Defense
(Nebraska and opponents in bold)

#3 Michigan
#4 Ohio St
#8 Rutgers
#21 Nebraska
#23 Iowa
#39 Wisconsin
#40 Maryland

#42 Minnesota
#49 Northwestern
#52 Michigan St
#58 Indiana
#91 Purdue
#93 Illinois
