The official Michigan Owns Ohio State thread

I like how we ignore that they totally ducked a ass whooping in 2020 because of "COVID"

Let em have their fun. I'm sure we looked like idiots celebrating our first 2-3 wins in the early Tress era after the awful 90s

I don’t want to agree with you, but I must. We won two in a row … this 1300+ bullshit is nonsensical … you don’t show up, you should forfeit the game - NO EXCUSES.

Watch how quick they turn on Harbaugh again if we beat them this year
No one is turning on Harbaugh if they lose one game this year after winning back to back B1G titles, back to back CFP appearances and beating Ohio in back to back years.

That being said -- when will Day be fired after Michigan beats them for the third time in a row this year, because UM will have a better team this year than they had the last two years.

The 1300+ is the last time Ohio beat Michigan ON THE FIELD. You keep talking about forfeiting, so are you saying Ohio really lost to Illinois that year? They cancelled their game with them because of Covid.

Anyone who follows football KNOWS, Ohio had an almost 100% chance they would have beaten us to a pulp in the Covid year, but the game didn't happen. Hell -- I think they were a 30 point favorite. But -- it didn't happen, so the last time Ohio has had the chance to watch Ohio beat UM on the field in November 2019 or...........1300+ days ago.

I heard the same thing about 2021 and 2022, you sure about that?
"We'll drop 100 on them after they ducked out of 2020"
"Last year was a fluke, THIS year we'll drop 100 on them!"

The 2020 season just shouldn't have happened in general the way it was. They either should have played a season or not. half the games that year got canceled and there’s forever going to be a huge asterisk next to the entire season.

All teams agreed to the rules of forfeiture before the season. It wasn’t a surprise.

The entire B1G forfeited the entire 2020 season. Sissy conference that even too big of a sissy to even stick to their guns.
Exactly. Even with the shortened schedule how many games were canceled that year? Michigan had a 9 game schedule and 1/3 of it was canceled anyway because of covid. Ohio State likes to act as though we just canceled the Ohio State game....in reality we canceled the Maryland and Iowa as well on the bookends of that game. And because of the crazy B10 rules, where kids with covid had to sit out like 40 days or something crazy, we basically didn't have a roster and were practicing with 7 on 7s.

You can thank the feckless pussy Kevin Warren for that. If it wasn't for grassroots movements at OSU and Nebraska to push for a season, we wouldn't have played at all. Shockingly, it turns out a 12 game season could've been played just fine as we saw in the SEC and ACC.

To be fair, if that kick had been dead center, it was gonna be blocked anyways
If he would've just kicked it like he did his previous make which was from virtually the same distance, it would've been fine. Just a horrible kick all around.

Pretty much the definition of -- When you start on 3rd base and think you hit a home run.
So Harbaugh started on third and then ran to first? He had a top 5 and a top 10 class as his upper classmen when he started in Ann Arbor.

Why on earth would we fire Day when he proved he can play with the best in the nation the last time we saw his team on the field? He was a shanked FG away from a very likely national championship.

No, no, no. When Harbaugh came to michigan, they basically had the talent of Ball State and he had to struggle to even achieve mediocrity.

....a lot of which had left, leaving Harbaugh to scramble for an Iowa transfer at QB. When you're starting Jake Ruddock you're not getting a team that's loaded. I'd love for Ryan Day to have a Jake Ruddock. Fixing rosters and especially cultures, can take a while. Especially reversing a roughly 15 year stretch of losing to Ohio State.

LMAO the incredible irony that Rudock is the only QB Harbaugh has even gotten drafted in 8 years
