The Official SEC thread

Predictions for every SEC this year.

OU 9-3 sounds about right. Be we ain't losing to Texas. That team lost a lot.

Game-by-game predictions: Illinois State (Win), Michigan (Win), at Temple (Win), Auburn (Win), Kent State (Win), Texas (Loss), at South Carolina (Win), Ole Miss (Win), at Tennessee (Loss), at Alabama (Loss), Missouri (Win), LSU (Win)
Early projection: 9-3, 5-3

Oklahoma will be one of the SEC's most improved teams in 2025 due in large part to staff changes and a new facilitator under center with Washington State's John Mateer taking over. He was dynamic last fall with the Cougars as a dual-threat signal caller and provides the Sooners with accuracy on third down. Offensively, Oklahoma has to find explosive plays. That begins in Week 2 against a Michigan team that will look very different defensively since the Wolverines must replace several early-rounders. Beating Michigan should spark at least eight wins

your new staff sucks..

your fcs all stars suck

maybe you will be better in 2026 with a new coach :)

Obviously Mateer and Arbuckle getting a lot of hype for good reason. Don't except 6 WRs and 4 O lineman out this time. Plus OU will have the 2nd best defense this year behind the Philadelphia Eagles.

Their downward spiral is starting to make perfect sense now

:dhd:

Also, Alabama ai t winning no 10 games
If there’s something like that on UGA, I’m hoping for 0-12, cleaning house on the coaching staff and starting over. Terrible culture

Congrats Oklahoma and Georgia

Not sure how this is calculated. If you look at current NFL success, OU easily wins with Mayfield, Murray and Hurts.

DISCLAIMER: All three ended their college career at OU and none of them started there. So, Tech, A&M and Bama get credited for assists.

ou got 3 players in there.. that's one more than they had SEC wins :)

Where has Texas been the last 20 years? Its one year for OU lol.
They buy into brag until it happens so every 15 years or so they hit.

Texas AM does the same thing their just in one long continuous drought.

Texas is the only one between us that has won a National championship in the last 20 years 👀
