The University of Alabama Hates Women

We all know Saban runs that school, anyone asked his thoughts on this? Has he blamed Jimbo for it yet?

Considering he has admitted to supplying the gun that killed the poor girl it sounds like you are delusional and willing to throw away your integrity in order to protect wins.

How low are you MFers going to sink?
Did you read the statement? From the time he arrived back at the club area everything is on video as evidence of his actions. Honestly, IMO, if there was any evidence of wrong doing on Millers part, the law enforcement would be seeking charges on him. I tend not to listen to idle gossip and instead base things on actual facts as presented by attorney's, law enforcement, and charges filed. What is funny is, the University acted immediately on Miles, but now the University is stone walling and covering up according to fans who want to listen to idle gossip.

sacrificial lamb to cover for the star.

lol, of course his defense lawyer is going to say those things.
Now tell me if I am wrong, but if a lawyer makes a false statement, is that not grounds for disbarment? If the evidence can clearly show otherwise, he could lose his ability to practice law? Sounds like a risky thing to do, would you not agree?

He wasnt the star when this happened. He was budding, but Miles had some promise as well, though he had not played much due to an injury and personal problems. I have followed this pretty close and from law enforcement so far in T-town, Miller has cooperated fully and is not a suspect or suspected of anything at this time. If he was, the University would sit him most likely until its cleared up.

Read the statement. "it is our understanding", means they can put all that shit out there and then claim the defendant lied to them and the lawyers are ok.

Zero risk, just doing his job.

lol, yeah Alabama is the beacon of "doing what is right".

No school is the beacon of doing what is right, but its pretty easy to see, based upon Miles being released immediately, that they will act if the situation points to wrong doing.

To me that says, they have looked at all evidence in the case as provided by law enforcement, statements from witnesses, the person they represent, and video evidence, and they understand that their client has done nothing worthy of having charges filed at this time.

Unless something comes to light or more evidence from another eye witness comes up, I would say he is looking pretty good for being in the clear on this. Just an opinion, but then I am basing this on all the evidence to support this as I have read it so far.

Explain how he is an accessory? I am curious on your understanding of this.
He supplied the gun and blocked the victim’s escape path.

Just say “he’s a star player for Alabama and I want him to stay on the team” it’s a reasonable stance. I’d feel the same way if Brock Bowers got in some shit.

But if Brock Bowers were on video hitting a woman like Jermaine Burton, I’d want him at least suspended for a game or two.

The gun was legally owned by Miles, left in the back seat of Millers car. When Miller returned, the gun was obtained by Miles. Miller never interacted with the gun other than it was left in his car. So I am failing to see how he supplied, other than he returned to pickup his teammate as he had stated he did. I am also not sure blocked is accurate, when he parked in front of the vehicle(in a parking spot), and then left the scene once he returned. Its all on video, so clearly the arm chair lawyers on this site know more than the law enforcement of Tuscaloosa, the DA for that county, and attorney's for both sides. Like I said before, I am basing my comments solely on evidence, not hearsay by disgruntled sports board posters.

As for Burton, I believe I made a similar comment as you did. I had no issues with Burton being suspended for his actions. It was clearly on video he committed an act. Saban handled it internally as he usually does with incidents like that.

Yes, we know better than the local authorities trying to cover for the star roundball player. Delivered the murder weapon and blocked the escape path. If it were you or me in the same situation, we’d be facing a prison sentence

Not without evidence to support such charges. Delivered the murder weapon is not how the law is seeing it. A legally owned gun that was in the back seat of a vehicle was returned to the rightful owner. What he did with that gun after the fact was not known to Miller, and if it was then law enforcement would be acting. You act as if an elected official who has an ethics clause and potential for being disbarred is going to put his career on the line for a basketball player. Thats some serious conspiracy level shit there.

If the local authorities were to go after a star player for Alabama, their careers and potentially lives would be over due to that shitstain fanbase.

You do realize the DA is a county position, and is also under scrutiny of the states DA, right? Its up to the DA to file charges if evidence supports it. Ethics violations and disbarment can happen if a coverup is proven. Like I said, what you see as evidence doesnt mean thats what meets the level needed to file charges. Every article I have read from many different sources all state the same thing.

There’s not gonna be anyone looking into a coverup that protects a star player at Alabama.

Coverups only exist in the minds of conspiracy theorists. Factual evidence is what charges are based on. Read more than one article on this and you will see that evidence does not exist so far, that can show Miller played a willing role in this incident. Miles and Davis are the ones that the evidence points to solely.

Tell ya what, so its on record, If the DA finds enough evidence to support charging Miller, I will be all for his removal from the team. As for this point in time, I am not onboard with ruining the life of someone who made an error in judgement simply because some disgruntled sports fans think he should be charged with a crime, without evidence one exists that he committed.
