Miss my old barber. Dude was in his 80s... Didn't have to say a word. He knew exactly what you wanted for your cut.. a year ago he needed knee surgery then covid hit and he had to close his shop

So, now I get my hair cut by a hot chick down the street

Messed with a while, plugged and unplugged, tried different outlets, then it wouldn't turn on at all.

Had enough and punched it. Right near the power button. Running like a charm now.

my haircut is pretty simple, Mrs Pnk did an ok job during] covid

I kind of miss my old barber by my old house, his issue was he was always busy and really slow (because he talks non stop), he charged $11 and there was free beer while you waited. If you brought in beer to share, your cut was free.

Few times the crowd waiting discussion ended up with less than subtle racism which was annoying. Barber wouldn't enter conversation or stop it, but whatever

Speaking of trains. Back during the depression Fish had to ride trains all the time for work. Going from town to town peddling Dapper Dan hair tonic was a rough game

I started wearing UA skullcaps for the same reasons (hair and sweat) but you definitely gotta own it or you'll get chirped. Same with my pink skate soakers (I figure I now have zero risk of grabbing the wrong ones after sharpening).

I tried a UA headband under my mask and it conflicted with the headband inside the mask. Flow is the best natural sponge imo.

I've never been chirped for any of my (goalie or skater) gear. My shoe game is much more a target tho...
