Thursday, one week before turkey

Morning folks. Not a good one. My brother fell down a flight of stairs last night. Ended up with swelling on his brain and had two heart attacks. Luckily it doesn't appear there is any heart damage, but he's sedated and they are cooling his body until at least tomorrow to see if he can breathe on his own. Seems they are most worried about whether he'll be able to breathe on his own and if he can, what extent of brain damage there is because he wasn't breathing when the paramedics arrived and they aren't exactly sure how long that was the case.

Spending this year with the outlaws. It will be hosted by my nieces husband, who is a really good guy. Poor guy is a diehard Cowboys fan though, and is usually glued to the TV and stressed out while he has dozens of guests milling around.

Sounds like me except I hate the Cowboys. Not sure if a few hours on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (occasionally Mondays & Thursdays) are more stressful than working hours. It feels that way.
