My brother bought that shit on an impulse and literally the day he bought it, it began its decline. :L

I know this plunge is based on the earnings report, but I'm more determined than ever to do as little business with Amazon as possible, starting with no renewing Amazon Prime.

Many don't realize that if you cancel Prime, on the 31st day, they'll start making you offers to come back. Now we only do it when we can get one of those 7-days/$1.99 deals. We get an order placed and get caught up on watching shows then don't renew.

Okay, I want to follow up on this and save you assholes some money so I made a new thread.

As you might know, I live outside the US but come back frequently and when I do, it's very convenient to order shit on Amazon and have it waiting on me when I get there. In SoCal, you can have your orders delivered to lockers on half the street corners from Santa Barbara to Tijuana, walk up with a QR code and presto, there's your shit.

But, I digress...

I hate paying for Prime except for when I order and it seems every time, they keep seeing that I cancel prime and they make the deal sweeter. A free month, a one-week trial for $1.99 and now, the best I've ever seen because I keep cancelling: 50% off. Prime for $7.49

My point: cancel your Prime and I assure you, they will start making you offers. If you're happily paying them $15/month, they'll take it forever.

Cancel that shit for a better deal. Send me half of your savings.

I stopped pretendng I'm going to do this. They got me. I hate it but I realize now I'm not going to cut my nose off to spite my face.

Yeah, I have my house full of Alexa devices and gave the keys to Amazon and the local police. I feel so safe now knowing they're watching, listening and protecting. I also installed the app on my phone and granted it access to the camera and microphone for bonus protection.
