It's 2024, let's get you two screens buddy
I have a spare TV I thought about bringing down to the living room, I just don't want to have to do it. I'm really just Abe Simpson shaking my fist at the sky because I have to go between streaming platforms just to watch football.

No shit. I sometimes have 4 streaming on my PC and 1 up on the TV. Lots of ways to multitask games.

I have a hard time concentrating on multiple games when one involves my favorite team.

If I'm just watching to watch, YouTube TV multiview is the way to go

I'm hoping OSU can do to Sparty what they did in 2021 so by 7:30 I can go back to my regular TV app to watch UGA/Bama.

their defense doesn't look bad, but I wouldn't be shocked if you shut them out.

That'd be ideal. That will also depend on which Chiles shows up for them. I'm not out on him but man, his acclimation has taken a lot longer than I figured. He has a long ways to go as a passer.

B1G SP+ rankings, post-week 4:
#2 OSU (#11 offense, #1 defense, #12 ST)
#8 PSU (#15 offense, #4 defense, #75 ST)
#9 Oregon (#4 offense, #32 defense, #48 ST)
#15 Michigan (#61 offense, #5 defense, #2 ST)
#18 Iowa (#88 offense, #2 defense, #8 ST)
#21 Washington (#32 offense, #30 defense, #90 ST)
#24 USC (#8 offense, #65 defense, #33 ST)
#30 Indiana (#43 offense, #33 defense, #6 ST)
#31 Nebraska (#85 offense, #8 defense, #124 ST)
#35 Maryland (#65 offense, #28 defense, #39 ST)
#41 Rutgers (#75 offense, #24 defense, #91 ST)

Like every year, still waiting to see more from Penn St. Another soft non-conference, only 3 ranked teams. Last year only two not counting Ole Miss. Allar’s TD-INT was 25-2 last year. Why? It seemed like they didn’t take many shots downfield which helped his turnovers but he couldn’t complete passes in the big games. Relying on playmakers to run after catch. Always hard to tell with Penn St. They have playmakers but can Allar take the next step?

Guy is a turnover factory, that being said, considering our history with Michigan State at times, I fully expect him to show up and complete 75% of his passes threading the needle with no turnovers.

They seem to have a couple of decent RBs, and they'll need to be able to run if they want to keep it close. I would imagine we'll see another steady dose of Tray/Q/Peoples, with Howard throwing maybe 24 passes. My only hope is they stop wasting second string reps on Devin Brown. He's clearly not any part of the future, and Sayin needs as many reps as he can get this year before taking over next season. I'd like to see him play a good chunk of the second half, and hopefully they let him rip a few to Inniss/Rodgers/Ballard.

Carter is meh, Lynch-Adams can be dynamic though if the OL gives him room. Problem is their OL has been pretty awful so far.

Agreed on Sayin needing those reps instead of Brown, but day has always been terrible at managing the backups at all positions.

Yeah Carter has actually been pretty bad outside of the Prairie View game, just noticed that. There was a lot of smoke that KLA was going to be a Buckeye this offseason after Hayden left, but he definitely made the right choice for his future. Always good seeing a native Ohio boy do well.

I know why he's letting Brown play, he's coaching for this season and is probably not thrilled at the idea of turning over the keys to a true freshman if something happened to Howard. That said, I have no doubt Brown would struggle regardless, while Sayin would provide a pop. If it comes to that, I just hope Brown comes in a struggles in a game we still win so Sayin could get his shot.

I've never really been impressed with Carter, he just seems like a guy who's very limited overall as a P5 "lead back". KLA is clearly the better of the 2.

When it comes to Brown I agree, i'm not impressed at all, I think we could manage to win with him just because our running game is that good, but in a situation where passes need to be thrown i'd much rather have Sayin' in there.

I still can't figure out why Brown gets reps over LK. From what we saw against Missouri (which wasn't much with that watered-down playcalling), LK seemed to be somewhat in control and made some nice passes, and he's clearly far more athletic than Brown. I still think he has a future somewhere. Honestly, if we could go into next season with Sayin, LK, and the TSC as our top 3 QBs I'd be cool with that. Air seems to have cleared up the maturity issues but he's way too talented to sit for the next 2 seasons behind Sayin. Hope he finds a starting spot next year.

Seth McLaughlin has really been our biggest portal addition. Guy's been a massive improvement at center and yea those snapping issues he had with Milroe last year are gone.
I hate that we only have him for one season. I hope he's able to provide some mentorship to all the young guys this season before he leaves. Hopefully Monty learns and takes over for 2025/2026.

Probably some weird loyalty thing where Day is stroking Brown for not transferring in the offseason. Even though he's more than likely gonna transfer after this year anyway. I don't even pretend to understand Day's logic with how he handles the backups, he's terrible at it, every time someone gets hurt it seems like the next guy in line is very ill prepared. Some positions it shows more than others.

I could see him sticking around as a GA perhaps. He definitely strikes me as the coaching type, and this would be a great place to start that sort of path. He's kidding himself thinking he's a viable player though.

Brown should transfer to like Utah State (local to his home) if he really wants to play, he'd probably be able to carve out a decent season at that level.
