tOfficial Fire Harbaugh thread.

Dear Michigan fans,

Now we know you all want to can Jimmie Jam right now, but think of the rest of the nation.
We need Jimmie Jam to finish the season, so he can pull off the all mighty of mighty upsets to knock that stupid look off Day's face.
And who knows, maybe someone shows Jimmie Jam the video of the FOX pre game show and Urban Myer talking negative about Jimmie Jam will fire up the ole ball coach and help pull off the upset.

It's to early to be pulling the plug on the season, ( everyone knows the calls sucked in that game yesterday) If Herman can get the monkey off his back so can Jimmie Jam!

I don’t know who we replace him with. But I’m done.

:herbie:

Oh so now you're done? Not sure I believe it. So you've gone from ignoring all of JH's coaching failures since his glorious return to ann arbor to finally seeing the light after yesterdays shocking upset? Did meeeechegan at least beat Michigan State on your video game system?

Despicable Me Lol GIF

Michigan's secondary will have to make otherworldly improvements in order for there even to be a chance of an upset. I don't see that happening. Olave and Wilson might both have 200 yards receiving in that game

What is it that Michigan fans say about Nebraska... shouldn't have fired a 9-10 win coach. Well you are in a similar circumstance now and calling for his firing? You might not be beating your rivals... at least you are beating most of the teams you should. Who was it that said Harbaugh = Pelini?

Yup. This was inexcusable. Outcoached by Mel Tucker should be an insta fire. To me it was just finally evidence that he’s never going to do better here. He has peaked.

Your avatar is throwing me off. How long's your bet for? I was shocked at how JH's crew played yesterday. I kept telling myself they would pull off a narrow victory.

Read in an article a week or so ago that JH is having some issues with the president. What's that all about? Also in that article it mentioned that he had issues with his bosses at Stanford and SF. 1-6 at home vs. Ohio State & Little Brother in simply unacceptable.

If they go away from JH is there a coach out there you'd like to see on the sideline next season? I know it's kinda early to start this kinda talk. But I think that loss sealed his fate at his alma mater.

Maybe they will go after Fickell lol

Now that would be awful. You know what's funny about meeeechegan football? That some of their biggest icons are from Ohio. Bo, Jimmy Jam, Heisman winners Howard & Woodson. It's gotta burn that fanbase up that the history of their program is incomplete without people from the state they hate the most.

You think Fickell would turn down Michigan State only to go to Little Sister?

Nah, I don't think he would go to Michigan, can't imagine being a player and coach for Ohio State and being able to put those feelings aside to go coach for that team.

I really don't think Fickell would have turned MSU down if not for the controversy that was currently surrounding the program. Had Dantonio retired under better terms I think he would be coaching there right now

yeah. The avatar screws with my brain. I have it through Saturd

You know what it is? It was that Harbaugh always wins these games. By the skin of his neck but he wins them. I could ignore some of the other stuff if he won. But it’s hard to ignore the other stuff when he’s not. More importantly against a bad MSU team that just lost to Rutgers and likely has a coach of their own that won’t be there in 4 years. You don’t lose that game. Period. You don’t get flat out out coached by Mel Tucker if you want to coach at Michigan.

harbagh was protesting the season being shut down. That pissed off the president who was part of the reason it shut down.

I honestly have no idea who to hire in his place. At this point I’d be fine with them throwing $30 million a year at Urban. Fuck it.

Some realistic candidates:

Greg Roman - Offensive Coordinator, Baltimore Ravens.

Brian Daboll - Offensive Coordinator, Buffalo Bills

Bill O'Brien - Former Head Coach, Houston Texans

Matt Campbell - Head Coach, Iowa State

Bob Stoops or Chris Peterson out of retirement?

Any other realistic guys?

Brent Venables possibly. He’s eventually got to get a head coaching gig someone, right.

Pat Dye played for Georgia and was an assistant under Bear Bryant at Alabama.

Money talks.

Wonder what that Michigan-Rutgers line is in a few weeks in Piscataway lol
