Yeah, but he was very highly rated coming out of high school.
could always use him similar to how Michigan used McCarthy in 2021. They used him in blowouts and in occasional meaningful playtime (saw non-garbage time reps against MSU, OSU; UGA was a blowout, but still got meaningful reps against a loaded roster)
feel like OSU needs more than just a QB though, they're losing Harrison/Egbuka/Fleming/Stover/Johnson (not that the latter was much of a difference maker, still a senior WR with *some* experience). Tate looks like a future stud, but that looks to be a very inexperienced WR core going into next year.
